National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken over CBSE in terms of conducting the JEE Main exams and will start its operation from 2019 onwards. The exam will be conducted twice a year- once in January and then in April. The first attempt of the JEE Main 2019 is scheduled for January. And, the second session is scheduled for April. After successfully completing the syllabus for the JEE Main 2019, candidates will then have ample time for the revision and also can take several JEE Main mock test 2019 which will be available from September, 2019 at the some of the Mock Test Centres whose list will be provided by the organizing authorities. Candidates with this time table can complete all the topics by January, 2019 and will have 3 months for complete revision and taking mock test. Candidates will then have to wait for the JEE Main January 2020 examination to again take the exam, where they can improve over their weak spots and can achieve success.

If u have min 75% in 12th then no need , otherwise yes but CBSE will consider your improvement marks exams only if you will appear in 4 or 5 subjects
