MHT CET B.Arch Admission 2019 - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has released the final merit list on July 5, 2019. The last date to submit the applications for CAP round 1 is July 7. The exam authorities have released a notification for admission to the first year of B.Arch in government, semi-government and private owned institutions for the academic year of 2019. Applicants seeking admission MHT CET B.Arch 2019 are required to appear for NATA or JEE Main entrance test. Applicants will get admission in MHT CET B.Arch 2019 in the participating institutions through Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP). Application form for admissions in the first year of Architecture was available online from June 24 to 30. The Commissioner of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State will be the competent authority for CAP and will direct applicants towards the allotment process. Candidates are required to fill the CAP application form through the official website for admission in B.Arch courses in MHT CET.. There are around 84 architecture institutions in Maharashtra offering 5277 seats in the first year of B.Arch. MHT CET B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2019

Before a candidate applies and registers for admission in B.Arch courses, he/she needs to check the eligibility criteria. The table given below demonstrates the different eligibility criteria for MHT CET B.Arch 2019:

MHT CET B.Arch Application Form 2019

The application form for admissions in B.Arch courses closed now. Candidates had to upload all the required documents for successful registration for the admission process. First-year architecture aspirants had to fill the application form online through the official website. The registration fee would be different for different categories and candidates can pay the fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking etc. Candidates can check the following steps for reference purpose.


Steps to Fill MHT CET B.Arch 2019 Application Form

  • Filling in Required Details

Application form for admission in MHT CET B.Arch 2019 will be available online and students need to fill in all the required personal, academic, contact and other details as asked in the form.

  • Uploading Photograph, Signature and Other Documents

Once done with filling in all the required details, applicants need to upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format. In case there are other documents required, candidates need to upload scanned images of documents through any computer connected to the internet.

  • Payment of Application Fee

After filling in details and uploading scanned images, candidates need to complete the application process by paying the required application fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking etc.

  • Printout of Application Confirmation

After making the application fee payment, candidates will reach the application confirmation page. Applicants are required to keep a printout of the confirmation page for use in future.


Only those students who have successfully registered for the admission process by paying the required application fee will be eligible for CAP counselling. Application forms for registrations will be available online in the first week of June 2019.

Merit List for MHT CET B.Arch 2019

The final merit list for architecture courses was released on July 5, 2019. Admissions to various B.Arch courses offered by the participating institutes will be given on the basis of the merit list released by the conducting authority. All the candidates who have successfully registered for the application process provided a merit rank by the competent authority. The merit list of MHT CET B.Arch 2019 was released on the basis of marks secured by the applicant in NATA and HSC. 50% weightage will be given to the score scored in NATA and the rest 50% weightage will be given to the aggregate score of HSC. The merit list can be checked on the official website through the application ID and date of birth.

MHT CET B.Arch 2019 Counselling and Seat Allotment

The counselling and seat allotment for admission in B.arch courses in MHT CET started from July 6, 2019. The competent authority will conduct the counselling process in 3 rounds. The counselling process for MHT CET B.Arch 2019 will be conducted through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).


Steps for Counselling and Admission in MHT CET B.Arch 2019

Candidates who secure higher ranks are more likely to be allotted admissions according to their preferences. All the applicants who have successfully qualified can apply for the registration of the seat allotment process. Registrations for counselling are likely to start in the first week of June 2019 and the process will include filling of choices and documents verification. Once done with this, the applicants can download their allotment letter from the website. Here are the detailed steps and courses of events for counselling and admission in MHT CET B.Arch 2019:


Steps for Registration for MHT CET B.Arch 2019

  • Online Registration for Counselling: The counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) and the qualified candidates need to register for the same through the online website.

  • Document Verification: Candidates need to visit the Facilitation Centres (FC) for the process of document verification. The list of facilitation centres will be published online. Candidates are required to bring xerox copies of documents to substantiate the claim of documents made in the application process.

  • Filling of Preference and Choices: Before the commencement of CAP rounds, candidates can select their institutions and course choices in decreasing order of their preference on the official website. The maximum number of institute and course choices that a student can fill is 300. Their will be fresh choice filling for each of the CAP rounds

  • Release of Provisional Allotment List for each round: The competent authority will then release a provisional merit list for all the eligible candidates before each CAP round. The provisional merit list before each CAP round will be published on the official website.

  • Reporting at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC): Eligible candidates need to report at the Admission Reporting Centre for securing their seat. Candidates can also choose from different options available like Freeze, Slide and Float to further decide the course of seat allotment process. Students do not need to report to the allotted institute before final seat allotment after CAP rounds.

  • Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: Candidates who have been allotted seats in the CAP rounds need to be present at Admission Reporting Centre for document verification and payment of seat acceptance fee. Only after doing so the candidate can report at the allotted institute for confirmation of their admission.

  • Reporting at the Allotted Institute: Once the applicants have verified their documents at ARCs and paid the seat acceptance fee they can visit the allotted institute for confirmation of their admission. Only after reporting to the ARC, the candidate can report at the allotted institute for confirmation of their admission. Institutes will then enter the seat confirmation details of the candidate in the online system.
