    KEAM Percentile Calculation

The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, uses a normalisation process to calculate the final result for KEAM 2026. Since the authority conducts the KEAM exam on multiple days, the normalisation process has to be applied for fair calculation. Each shift of the KEAM exam has a different set of questions. The KEAM B.Tech exam is conducted for a total of 600 marks. However, for the preparation of the KEAM rank list, the authorities give equal weightage to both the KEAM results and the qualifying exam’s merit. Hence, the authorities apply the normalisation process to 300 marks. The authority has provided the detailed procedure for the KEAM normalisation process in the prospectus.
