The link for the JEE Main admit card for April 7, 8 & 9 exams was activated on April 3, 2025. To download the JEE Main admit card, candidates require their application number and password. Candidates appearing for the JEE Mains exam must present the admit card at the exam centre. The JEE Main 2025 exam for session 2 is being held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9.

JEE Mains 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the JEE Main exam have to follow a few exam guidelines. The authority mentions the complete guidelines on the JEE Main hall ticket. Below are a few important NTA JEE Main exam day guidelines to follow at the examination centre of JEE Main 2025.

  • Students are advised to report to the test centre before the Gate closing time to avoid last-minute rushes. Since there will be security checks, they should make sure they reach early.

  • Candidates need to carry the JEE Main admit card 2025 along with a valid id proof. Valid ID proofs: Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, School ID/ PAN/ Driving License, etc.

  • Candidates will be provided a scribble pad in the exam hall for rough work.

  • Diabetes candidates will be allowed to carry eatables inside the exam hall such as sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed food such as chocolate, sandwiches, etc. inside the exam hall.

  • Candidates have to sit on the seat allocated by the authorities.

  • No electronic devices allowed - calculators, pagers, mobile phones and more are allowed inside the exam centre.

  • Students will not be allowed to enter the exam centre after the exam commences or leave before it ends

  • PwD certificate for the candidates claiming relaxation.

Hello,

Yes, during JEE Main registration, you can choose up to four preferred exam cities in order of priority. Since you are staying in Kota but belong to Bihar, you can select both locations. For example, Kota as your first choice and your hometown city in Bihar as another option.
When the admit card is released (usually a week before the exam), the final center will be allotted from your chosen options.

You can fill your JEE main and advance forms 2026 normally . No, your 11th registration number will not cause any problem.

You will be treated as 12th appearing student in 2026, not as a dropper . You just need to make sure that your CBSE 12th result comes out in 2026 before counselling.

To be eligible for Himachal Pradesh state quota you must have passed atleast two examinations from Himachal pradesh including the 10th and 12th grades. The other criteria are for government employee wards, if the parents have worked there for atleast two years and completed their 10th and 12th from HP.
