JEE Main 2026 Jan 24 Admit Card: The National Testing Agency has issued the JEE Main admit card 2026 for 24 January exam on January 17, 2026. Candidates can download the JEE Mains hall ticket 2026 for Jan link has been activated on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To download the hall ticket, candidates can enter their login credentials, such as application number and password. The JEE Main 2026 admit card includes important information such as exam centre, exam date, shift timing and locations map. The NTA will use a tie-breaking method in case two or more candidates obtain the same scores in JEE Mains 2026. The tie-breaking rule will apply in the order given below.
1. NTA score in Mathematics, followed by;
2. NTA score in Physics, followed by;
3. NTA score in Chemistry, followed by;
4. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the test, followed by;
5. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics, followed by;
6. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics, followed by;
7. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry, followed by;
8. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Candidates may note that the admit card will not be sent by post. Students will need to bring their JEE Main 24 Jan admit card and along with a valid Photo ID to the exam centre. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The JEE Main 2026 Jan 24 exam will be held in shift 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and shift 2 exam from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Admit Card has been issued provisionally to the candidates through the NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions and receipt of the prescribed application fee by NTA. Candidates can follow the step by step guidelines below to download the JEE Main 2026 for 24 January.

On the homepage, click on the JEE Mains admit card for 24 January 2026 link.
Enter your login credentials, such as application number and date of birth.
Submit the details, and the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Download the admit card and keep it for further reference.
The admit card exam consists of important details such as the candidate’s information, exam centres address, exam timings and exam day instructions.
Candidates will be allowed to appear for the examination at the centre, on the date and shift/time other than that allotted to them on their Admit Card.
In case a candidate is unable to download his/ her Admit Card from the website, he/ she should approach the NTA Help Line Number: 011-40759000 between 10.00 A.M. to 05.00 P.M.
Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the JEE Mains Admit Card carefully and strictly follow them during the examination.
In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown in the e-Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the NTA Help Line from 10:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M. In such a case, the candidate should appear in the Examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.
Candidate reporting at the centre after the gate closing time will not be permitted to appear for the Examination and any act of forceful entry or any representation/argument with the exam functionaries will lead to consideration of the act by the candidate as UFM.
No Admit Card shall be issued to the candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for the Examination.

The NTA has revised the JEE Main 2026 exam date session 1 on the official website. According to the revised notification, the JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 29, 2026. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for January 21 to 30, 2026. The exam will be held for B.Tech from January 21, 22, 23, 24 & 29, 2026, while the B.arch exam is scheduled for January 29, 2026. The JEE Main 2026 result session 1 will be announced on February 12, 2026.
