ISI Admission Test 2019 - Indian Statistical Institute has released the first and second seat allotment result for M.Tech admission in online mode. Students can check the allotment list of ISI M.Tech admission below. Students who have been allotted a seat need to follow the admission instructions sent to them in their email. ISI Admission Test is conducted for the intake of candidates to the M.Tech programmes. Admission at ISI is through entrance test conducted by the institute . ISI Admission test 2019 was conducted on May 5 and result was released on May 29. The ISI Admission test 2019 hall ticket was released on April 18. The application form for ISI admission test 2019 was closed on March 15. Candidates who wish to take admission in PG courses in engineering at ISI have to appear in the ISI Admission Test. The admission authority has earlier released the notification listing all the important dates of ISI admission test 2019. Candidates will be offered admissions into 35 M.Tech seats in CS, 25 seats in QROP, and 20 seats in CrS. The admission will be provided in various campuses across India such as Kolkata, Tezpur, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Giridih. Merit List & Provisional Seat Allotment of ISI 2019
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of ISI admission test 2019 before applying for the examination. ISI 2019 Eligibility Criteria
M.Tech Computer Science (CS)
Candidates who have passed a Master's degree in any one of the following:

Aspirants should have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent if they have applied for the engineering stream.
Candidates applying for the Statistics stream must have passed a Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics with Probability and Statistics as majors
All applicants must have studied Physics and Chemistry at the Higher Secondary level in school.
They must have studied Mathematics in their graduation.
M.Tech in Cryptology and Security (CrS)
The eligibility criteria for this programme is same as that of M.Tech Computer Science (CS).
The admission authority closed the online application form of ISI 2019 on March 15. Candidates allowed to make the payment of ISI 2019 application form till March 19. Candidates can check all steps involved in filling the ISI application form
How to fill Application Form of ISI 2019?
Registration: Firstly, candidates will be required to register using their name, email id and mobile number. This will create a login ID which will be used for all further purpose.
Fill the Application Form: Log in and enter personal and academic details in the application form
Upload Documents: Candidates must upload their documents such as scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned below in the table.
Payment of Application Form Fees: Candidates can make the payment of application fee in both online and offline mode. The online mode of payment can be done through Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card. Candidates must make a note of their transaction ID after payment is successful. The offline mode of payment can be done by using e-challan. Candidates will be required to download the e-challan and pay the application fee in cash at nearest SBI Branch. Candidates must make sure that the bank authorities have put a proper stamp on the e-challan and mentioned journal number and code of branch. Candidates must keep the document safe.
Submit Application Form: After the successful payment, candidates will be required to submit their application form. A notification will be sent through SMS after the application has been submitted.

ISI Application Fee 2019
The admission authority will release the list of exam centres of ISI admission test 2019 for the candidates where they will take the test for the admission into M.Tech degree programmes. Candidates are advised to check the exam venues so that while filling up the application form they can choose the nearest test centre of ISI 2019. Last year, the exams were held nearly in 38 cities across India. Likewise, the exam will also be held in these 38 cities this year as well. The list of exam centres of ISI 2019 are mentioned below.
ISI 2019 Test Centres
Candidates can go through the exam pattern of ISI 2019 to know everything related to the question paper such as the time allotted for the examination, arrangement of question paper, marking scheme, total marks, mode of examination and others. With the help of exam pattern, candidates will be able to know how to approach to the questions in the right way. Candidates can check the complete information regarding the exam pattern of ISI 2019 from below.
Part 1 of the examination will be mandatory for the candidates which will comprise of MCQs or Descriptive questions from Mathematics of UG level.
Part 1 of the examination will carry 30 marks in total.
The time allotted to the candidates will be 2 hours.
For Statistics or Mathematics stream of Part 1, there will be 5 questions from Statistics & Probability. Candidates will be required to answer 6 questions in total, 2 from each sections.
The Part 2 of the examination will comprise of MCQs or descriptive questions.
Candidates will be required to complete the Part 2 within 2 hours of time.
Part 2 will carry a total of 70 questions from 5 sections.
For candidates belonging to Computer Science category, there will be 5 sections in Part 2 examination with questions from Computer Science, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Drawing, Thermodynamics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Engineering and Technology.
For Engineering stream, there will be 4 questions from Mathematics and 6 questions from Engineering and Technology. Candidates will be required to answer a minimum of 2 questions from each.
The admission authority will release the syllabus of ISI 2019 for the candidates. Candidates can refer to the ISI 2019 syllabus to know the important topics and chapters which are required to be covered by the candidates if they wish to secure more marks in the examination. The admit card of ISI admission test 2019 has been released online by the admission authority on April 18. Candidates can download their ISI 2019 admit card by logging into the website portal and then download. It is advised that after downloading the admit card, candidates must check the details mentioned on it. If there are wrong details mentioned, candidates must immediately contact the admission authority. After the details are checked, candidate must get at least 2 prints of the admit card. Candidates will be required to present the ISI 2019 admit card at the time of examination, without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam venue.
The admission authority released the final answer key of ISI admission test 2019 on May 14. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can download the answer key of ISI 2019 from ISI portal. Candidates were allowed to challenge the provisional answer key if they find any answer incorrect. The final answer key was released after consideration of challenges.
The result of ISI admission test 2019 has been released on May 29. The admission authority has also released the schedule of interview for candidates who need to appear for the interview process. Candidates can check their result in the ISI portal.
The cutoff of ISI admission test 2019 will be released along with the result. The ISI 2019 cutoff is the minimum marks required by the candidates to get admission in the institute. Candidates must secure marks above than the cutoff marks to have more chances of getting the admission in the institute. ISI Admissions cutoff 2019 will be determined by various factors such as total number of candidates taking up the examination, total number of seats available, difficulty level of the exam and the previous year cutoff trends. The cutoff of ISI admission test 2019 will differ with the M.Tech courses and the institute. Results will be announced separately for the GATE qualified candidates.
The counselling and seat allotment of ISI admission test 2019 has been completed. Candidates can check above the list of candidates who have been allotted seats in the institute. Seats are allotted on the basis of candidates performance in the entrance test in the order of merit. The counselling and seat allotment is done in online mode where qualified candidates have to register and confirm the allotted seats. Candidates had to bring along all their original documents with a set of photocopies and get their documents verified for the seat allotment process. Candidates will not be allotted the seat, if they did not produce the original documents.

ISI Admission Test B.Stat Exam Pattern
Candidates must refer to the exam pattern of ISI admission test for B.Stat to get an idea about the types of questions, exam duration, sections, etc. Given below is the table having details about the exam pattern of ISI admission test
Exam Duration: The exam is conducted in two halves: a forenoon session and afternoon session. Each exam will be of two hours.
Types of question: The paper 1 which will be conducted in the forenoon session will have objective type questions while the paper of the afternoon session will have descriptive type questions.
Multiple choice questions: There will be 30 multiple choice questions in the forenoon paper. Each question will have four options with one correct answer. Marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempt
Descriptive type questions: In this paper, the candidates will have to write the descriptive answers to the questions.
Subjects: Both the papers will be of Maths.

1. Master’s Degree in Statistics with Physics and Chemistry at the (10+2) level; or
2. Master’s Degree in Mathematics with Statistics as a subject at undergraduate or
post-graduate level, and Physics and Chemistry at the (10+2) level; or
3. BE/B Tech degree or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE).
