On Question asked by student community
Hello aspirant,
No, JEE Main marks are not accepted by NMIMS for admission to the BTech programme. A passing score on the NMIMS university entrance exam is required for admission to the BTech programme. You need to score good marks in NPAT exam to get admission in NMIMS.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
Hi aspirant,
Scoring low marks will eventually low your chances of getting admission in btech course. A student must score a minimum of 50 to 60% marks and for safer side it must be 75% such that it will help in getting good enginerring college on direct admission basis or through any other entrnace exam except jee.
See, by calculating your scores in PCM you are getting 52% marks which are actually considered for direct admission but there are high chances that you might not get good branches in an enginerring college.
So try to prepare for entrances exam and bang on.
Hooe this answer will help you.
Thank you and very good luck:)
I can't say about NMIMS for B.Tech, I would say There are many other University which B.Tech course.
Now I am sharing the list of top private Universities name which offers engineering course :-
Geeta University ,Panipat
SRM University
VIT
Manipal University
Chitkara University
Chandigarh University
My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Geeta University and currently he is working with Amazon with highest package. He has learnt a lot from GU. Reviews are pretty good. GU is helping him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support.
He told me, GU is the best engineering college in Delhi/NCR for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking.
GU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards.
Placements at GU have always been good, University has set the bar very high due to its record-breaking placements. Computer Science students of GU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. The 2022 batch from GU saw some big names such as Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, BYJU’S, American Express, Motherson Sumi, Urban Clap, UST Global, Max Life, ICICI Prudential visiting the varsity campus for conducting their campus placements.

Hello aspirant,
The syllabus for PCM in NMIMS CET is generally, the topics from 10+2. Whereas for logical reasoning, it is better to refer the book by R. S. Aggarwal, by the S. Chand publications. And for English subject "General English" by SP Bakshi is fabulous. For more details of the topics refer the following link: https://www.careers360.com/exams/nmims-cet
Hope this helps you,
Good luck, thank you :)
