Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts JoSAA counselling based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores to offer admission into NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs to eligible candidates. This year, JoSAA 2026 registration will start on June 2, 2026. During registration, candidates will have to select their choice of courses and colleges according to their eligibility. A total of seven rounds are conducted for JoSAA 2026. Candidates must keep in mind that those who are JEE Main or JEE Advanced qualified will be able to participate in the counselling process. The seat allocation result of JoSAA will be released in online mode for every round. Candidates will be allotted according to their merit, preferences and availability of seats.
