Step 1 - Registration - Candidates need to visit the official website at gat.gitam.edu. The first step requires them to register for GITAM GAT PG 2026. The details to be entered during GITAM PG registration include name, mobile number and a password also has to be generated. There will be a set of instructions to be read by candidates as well for further process.

Subscribe NowWhile filling the GITAM GAT PG 2026 application, candidates also have to select the cities in order of preference for the exam centre. Along with the test centres, the M.Tech programme and the subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) OR Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) have to be selected. After providing all the requisite information, final submission of application has to be done.
Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Images - The next step requires candidates to upload their scanned signature and passport sized photograph. The authorities have prescribed photograph size which should be between 4KB to 50 KB and the dimensions should be 4 cm x 4 cm in jpg/jpeg format.
Step 4 - Payment of Fee - The last step requires candidates to pay the application fee of GITAM GAT PG 2026 through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline modes (demand draft).

The cutoff Rank for CSE in GITAM is near about 7000.
There are fewer chances to get a CSE branch in GITAM university but you can get any other branch in the main campus also.
IT can be a good option and you can easily get IT Branch at this rank as the previous year cutoff rank for IT was 10,500.
The GITAM GAT 2019 examination was held from April 10 to 22, 2019. The entrance exam of GITAM GAT 2019 is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate programs offered at Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam campuses.

You scored huge rank in Gitam GAT exam Based on your rank you will get a EEE or ECE seat in any of the Gitam campuses on management quota but you will not get fee concession from gitam. Forgetting fee concession of at least 25% through Gitam GAT your rank should below 2000. You will definitely get a preferred branch in any of the campuses only through management quota only.
