TIET Patiala was founded in 1956 by an industrialist and is located in the Punjab state with one of the largest campus sizes of 250 acres. TIET achieved autonomous status in 1985, but now it is a university holding a 29th rank by NIRF. TIET has an intake of 10,095 students for a four-year B.Tech program.

Mode of Exam And Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech admission in TIET is mainly based on the JEE Main score. Candidates must appear for the JEE Main 2026 to be eligible for admission. Candidates must have at least 60 per cent marks in 12th class with PCM as core subjects. Students can get engineering admission in TIET, Punjab, through the home state quota or outside the home state quota.
