CSAB SFTI 2019 - National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli will not be conducting CSAB SFTI 2019 due to minimum participation from the Self Financing Technical Institutes (SFTIs). The CSAB SFTI 2019 counselling was to be conducted for admission of JEE Main 2019 qualified candidates in the participating Self Financing Technical Institutes. Registrations for CSAB SFTI 2019 were scheduled to open after the conclusion of JoSAA 2019. All candidates were to register for the CSAB SFTI 2019 admission process in order to be considered for the admission. Admissions would have been done on the basis of JEE Main scores through a centralized and transparent allotment process. During allotment through CSAB SFTI 2019, admissions would have been done as per the merit, preferences and availability of seats. There was to be only round of CSAB SFTI 2019 counselling and would have been open after the JoSAA process is completed. There are certain conditions and requirements that the candidates will have to meet to be eligible for admissions through CSAB SFTI 2019. These conditions will be collectively present in CSAB SFTI 2019 eligibility criteria. Ineligible candidates will be disqualified.
Eligibility Criteria of CSAB SFTI 2019 (For B.Tech/B.E. Admissions)
The candidates should have qualified JEE Main 2019 Paper I
Should have passed 12th standard qualifying examination with a minimum 45% aggregate marks (General category) or 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category).
The candidates should have obtained minimum pass marks as per their respective boards of 12th standard exam in each of the below five subjects used to calculate the aggregate marks:
One of these subjects (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology or Technical Vocational Subject)
Any one language
Any one other subject

Should have scored a valid rank in JEE Main 2019 Paper II
The candidates should have studied Mathematics in 12th standard
Should score minimum 50% aggregate marks in five subjects including Mathematics
The candidates should have secured the minimum pass marks in each of the five subjects.
The counselling of CSAB SFTI 2019 will be conducted by the authorities to provide admissions to JEE Main qualified candidates. Allotment of seats will be done as per the merit and eligibility of the candidates. It is important for the candidates to register to participate in CSAB SFTI 2019 counselling. The given steps have to be followed by the authorities to complete the counselling process.
Step 1 - Fee Payment - Firstly, the candidates will have to log into the CSAB portal using their respective JEE Main 2019 application number. After logging in, the candidates will have to pay the fee of Rs. 21,000 through SBI Collect. After payment, the candidates will have to go to the State Bank of India portal and access their payment receipt through any of the two options:
Option 1 - By submitting their date of birth, mobile number, start date and end date
Option 2 - By submitting their DU reference number, date of birth, mobile number
Step 2 - Registration - Candidates will only be able to register 3 or 4 hours after making the fee payment. Login has to be done using JEE Main 2019 roll number and all of the present personal details have to be verified. The candidates will be able to change the following details - gender, category, PwD status, state of eligibility and aggregate percentage of marks.

Step 3 - Filling of Choices: After registering, the candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges and course as per their order of preference. This has to be done carefully since the order of choices can affect the allotment. Before locking of choices, the candidates will be able to rearrange, delete and add to their selected choices. No changes can be made after the locking is completed. If the candidates fail to lock their choices, then it will be automatically locked once the deadline is over.
Step 4 - Allotment of Seat: The authorities will allot the candidates as per their merit, preferences, category and availability of seat. Candidates will be able to access the seat allotment result in online mode. The provisional allotment letter has to be downloaded by the authorities. The allotment letter will not be sent through any other mode.
Step 5 - Reporting at Allotted Institute: Selected candidates will have to report to their respective institutes for verification of documents. At the allotted institute, the candidates will have to produce the provisional seat allotment letter and pay the balance fee. If the candidates fail to report at the allotted institute within the given time, his/her seat will be cancelled.

Refund of Initial Fee
Those candidates who fail to report for admission at the allotted institute or do not take admission on the allotted seat will not be refunded their initial fee of Rs. 21,000.
The initial fee will not be refunded if at the time of reporting, the documents/certificates submitted by the candidates in support of their aggregate percentage of marks, category, PwD status and state of eligibility are found to be incorrect and hence the admission is denied.
Those candidates who fail to get allotted in the unique round of CSAB SFTI 2019 counselling will be given a refund of Rs. 20,000. From the fees, Rs. 1000 will be deducted as non-refundable processing fee.
