Candidates who want to secure admission via the WBJEE TFW ranking scheme must first pass the WBJEE examination followed by the qualifying for the TWF merit lists under WBJEE cutoff. The TWF scheme is as implemented by the Government of West Bengal to provide financial support to economically weaker sections of society. Eligibility for TFW rank in WBJEE Cutoff 2025

Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority will be eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW). There is no stability in the WBJEE ranks. The ranks keep fluctuating throughout the year based on various factors, including the difficulty of the exam, the number of test-takers, and the overall performance of other students. However, candidates planning to secure admission under the TWF quota must have the following qualifications.

    • Only students who are permanent residents of West Bengal are eligible for this scheme.

    • The candidate’s total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹2.50 lakhs.

    • The scheme provides a waiver only on the tuition fee; students are required to pay all other applicable fees themselves.

    • Candidates must secure a general merit rank (GMR) and TFW rank in the WBJEE exam.
