Educational Qualification: The candidates should have qualified 10+2 qualifying (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.

Entrance Examination: Should have secured valid KCET/JEE Mains scores to be considered eligible for admissions.
Marks Required: The candidates are required to not only pass the qualifying examination but also have to secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics + Math + Chemistry of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

PES University has commenced the PESSAT application form 2025 on July 29, 2024 on the official website. The link for PESSAT registration 2025 has been updated on the official website, pessat.com. Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria of PES University for applying online. While filling the PESSAT 2025 application form, candidates must provide the required information. The application process comprises registration, form filling, document upload, and PES University application fee payment. Invalid and incomplete applications may be rejected by the authorities.
PES University offers admission on the basis of KCET and JEE Main score. Candidates need to appear for KCET/ both (if eligible) or can apply through JEE Main score. For NMIT, admissions are done on the basis of academic eligibility followed by CET and COMEDK exams. For academic eligibility, The student should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination. Further, they should have given the Further, the student should have given CET or COMEDK.
For Ramiaiah, A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible. The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).
