MHT CET 2025 Lateral Entry: The Maharashtra State CET Cell has released the MHT CET lateral entry seat allotment 2025 for round 4 on September 4. The MHT CET 2025 lateral entry seat allotment link has been activated at dse2025.mahacet.org. Applicants require their user ID and password for the seat acceptance procedure. The authority held the option entry for MHT CET lateral entry between August 31 and September 2, 2025. Also, the option form for institute level admission was available till September 4, 2025. Through the MHT CET lateral entry 2025, aspiring candidates will be selected into the direct second year of UG Courses of Bachelors in Engineering and Technology in various government, government aided, universities, and private educational institutions (including Minority Institutions) for the academic year 2025-26 in Maharashtra State.

For Maharashtra State and All India Candidature Candidates
Candidates must be a citizen of India.
They must have passed a minimum of a three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Central Government, State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
Or
Candidates must have passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks and must have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Candidates have passed three years D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector; and
Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

As per the MHT CET syllabus 2024 with weightage PCM and PCB prescribed by the Maharashtra CET Cell, 20 percent weightage is given to the Class 11 topics and the remaining 80 percent to the Class 12 topics of the Maharashtra board.

Hope you are preparing well for the exam ! In the mht cet exam there are physics , chemistry, mathematics and biology . Class 12th and class 11th topics will be asked in the examination and 20% weightage is given to the Class 11th syllabus and 80% weightage to the Class 12th syllabus. This is most important thing to know for a aspirant . Know your syllabus and prepare accordingly for the exam .
The eligibility criteria for the exam is ;-
Candidates should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
