KEAM Application Form 2020 - Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) has closed the KEAM 2020 application process on February 29. The last date to submit KEAM application form was extended by the authorities. The application form was released at cee.kerala.gov.in on February 1. Candidates had to provide valid personal, academic and communication information while filling the application form of KEAM 2020. As any wrong information can affect eligibility of admission or reservation claims of the candidates. After filling all the required details, candidates were required to pay Rs. 700 (Rs.300 for SC candidates) as application fee of KEAM in online mode or through e-challan. However, ST candidates were exempted from paying application fees. After filling the KEAM 2020 application form, candidates had to take a print of system generated copy of the form. Relevant certificates to claim special reservation for categories like XS/DK/SD/RP/HR. Certificates should be obtained from the concerned authorities not earlier than six months from the last date of application.

Income Certificate (if applicable)

Income certificate from the concerned Village Officer.

Other Certificates

Relevant Certificates for claiming any other claims like NRI, Minority, etc.

How to Fill KEAM 2020 Application Form?

The authorities had started KEAM application form 2020 on February 1 in online mode. The candidates were required to follow the given steps to fill the KEAM online application form. The final date to submit the application form was extended till February 29, 2020.

Step 1 – KEAM Registration: In the first step, the candidates had to go to the official website and click on the "Registration" link. After this, a declaration had to be checked by the candidates before clicking on "Proceed for Registration". In the next page, candidates had to fill the following details to complete KEAM 2020 registration:

  • Candidate’s name

  • Date of birth

  • Mobile number

  • Email ID

  • Create Password (Password should be of minimum 8 characters and should have at least 1 alphabet, 1 number and 1 symbol)

  • Access code

After entering the details, click on "Register" Button. After registration, a window appeared where candidates were required to check their registration details. If all the details were correct, "Confirm" option had to be selected or else "Edit" option to make corrections. If a candidate chose "Edit" option, an OTP was sent to their registered mobile number. Registration was completed by the entering the OTP.

On successful registration, an application number was generated by the system. Candidates must keep the KEAM 2020 application number safely for future use.

Step 2 – Filling of KEAM Application Form: Next, the candidates had to fill KEAM 2020 application form with their personal, academic, communication, course, reservation and income details. Following details had to be entered-

  • Course Details - Preferred choice of course and KEAM 2020 exam centres from the drop down list were selected. After this, click on 'Save and Proceed".

  • Personal Details – Aadhaar number, gender, nationality, nativity, father's and mother's details and more were required to be entered in the application form. After entering all the details clicking on "Save & Proceed" was required.

  • Communication Details - House name, street name, post office, pin code and select State & district.

  • Academic Details 10+2 standard qualifying marks, status, board of study, etc. and click on "Save & Proceed".

  • Reservation – Candidates had to specify whether they qualify for reservation or not and click on "Save & Proceed". In the next page, candidates were also required to specify special reservation category, if applicable.

  • Income Details – Family income details, district and more information.

After all the details of the KEAM application form 2020 were completed, candidates had to click on "Save & Preview" button. After this, a preview of the application form was generated. Candidates had to check all the details and edit it in case of any mistake. After corrections, if any, candidates had to click on "Save & Finalize" to submit all the data.

Step 3 – Application Fee Payment: After filling the application form of KEAM, the candidates had to pay the required fee. Payment of the application fee could be done in both online (net banking/credit card/debit card) and offline mode (e-challan). For offline mode, candidates had to download the e-challan from the website and submit it along with the application fee at all the designated head and sub-post offices in Kerala state and Lakshadweep. The payment had to be done in cash.

Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Documents: In the next step, the candidates had to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and certificates as per the specifications provided by the authorities. (Specifications mentioned above)

Step 5 – Print Confirmation Page: Finally, after completing steps 1 to 4, candidates were advised to take a print of the confirmation page. Candidates were not required to send the print of confirmation page to KEAM office but they should retain the system generated copy with them till the completion of admission process.

Forgot KEAM 2020 Password?

The given steps can be followed by the candidate to retrieve their KEAM 2020 candidate login password:

  • Click on Forgot Password.

  • The candidates will have to provide their application number, date of birth along with selecting the OTP delivery method.

  • New password will be sent to the registered email Id or mobile number of the candidate as per their selection.

  • Click on Submit.

Forgot KEAM 2020 Application Number?

If the candidates have lost their KEAM application number, they can also retrieve it by following the given steps:

  • Click on “Forgot Application Number”

  • The candidates will have to enter their name, date of birth and mobile number along with entering the access code.

  • The application number of KEAM 2020 will be displayed on the screen which has to be kept safely for future use.

How to Check KEAM 2020 Application Form Status?

Candidates have to log into their account to check the KEAM application form status. If each step is marked green in colour then it indicates that the step has been completed successfully. However, if it is marked red then it means that the step has been left incomplete. All of the steps have to be completed successfully for the candidates to participate in the entrance examination. The status of the KEAM application form 2020 will be divided into the following categories:

  • Registration: Whether the candidate has registered or not.

  • Fill Application: Whether the candidate has filled the required details and submitted it or not.

  • Pay Application Fee: Whether the authorities have received the fee payment or not.

  • Upload Images: Whether the images are uploaded as per the specifications or not.

  • Print Application: Whether the application form has been printed or not.

Reasons for Rejection of KEAM Application Form 2020

  • If the uploaded photograph is not according to the required specifications mentioned by the authorities.

  • Blurred and fake signature can also lead to rejection of application form.

  • If the candidates have failed to pay the application fee.

  • If the candidates fail to upload Nativity certificate or certification of birth with the printout.

KEAM Application Form Correction 2020

The authorities will also provide KEAM 2020 application form correction facility to the candidates after the completion of application process. KEAM application form correction facility 2020 will be an one-time facility that will be available on the official website. In order to make corrections to the KEAM application form, candidates will have to login with their KEAM application number and password. All the corrections must be made within the specified time limit.

KEAM cut off depends on a variety of factors like the number of students appeared, difficulty of the exam ,availability of seats etc. The cut offs for various courses varies every year.The cut off for general category candidates to qualify in KEAM was 50% and for SC/ST candidates it was 40%.

NEET is currently scheduled to be conducted in the first week of March.Due to COVID-19 various exams have been postponed till April 15.Depending on current situation nothing can be said.Once the situation gets in control,we will have any update on the date of the examination.

Is attending KEAM a better choice than AEEE??

Hello Aspirant,

AEEE is a university-level exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, for admission to its four-year B.Tech programmes.
Where as KEAM is a state level entrance exam conducted for admissions into B.Tech/B,Pharma/B.Arch courses offered by the participating institutes in the state of kerala and there are over 150 participating institutes.

So, i would suggest you to appear for KEAM because it will give you more options of colleges and it is also a state level exam.

For getting admission in Bachelor in Audiology and Speech - Language Pathology (BASLP) course, you will have to appear in NEET entrance exam.
You can apply in KEAM and you can use your NEET scorecard to get admission in college under KEAM.
