Q. What is the Syllabus of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 & 2?

Ans: The syllabus for JEE Main 2019 Paper I will mainly consist of the chapters and topics studied by the candidates for their 10+2th standard qualifying examination. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 syllabus will consist of questions from Mathematics and an aptitude test and a drawing test will also be conducted. Q. Is the JEE Main 2019 Syllabus same as Class XII of CBSE?

Ans: The syllabus of JEE Main 2019 will be similar to that of Class XII of CBSE. Mainly the topics and chapters might be the same for both of examination.

 

Q. Will the JEE Main 2019 syllabus have questions from Class XI also?

Ans: Yes. Some questions from Class XI syllabus may also be present in the examination of JEE Main 2019.

Q. What are the important topics in JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 in Physics, Maths and Chemistry?

Ans: JEE Main 2019 Paper I examination will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus is vast and is similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination syllabus. The main topics for the three subjects are given below:

Physics – Dimensional Analysis, Gravitation & Electro-statistics, Current Electricity & Heat Transfer, Waves & Sounds, Geometrical Optics, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of Gases and Rotational Dynamics and Electromagnetic Induction.

Chemistry – Mole concept & the concept of equivalents, Redox reactions, Electro-chemistry, Thermodynamics and Chemical Equilibrium in Physical Chemistry, Carbonyl Compounds & their derivatives in organic chemistry and Coordination chemistry, Chemical bonding and Qualitative analysis in inorganic chemistry

Mathematics – Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Circles and Family of Circles, Sequence and Series, Probability, Vectors, Quadratic equations and expressions, Complex numbers, Matrices, Parabola,  Hyperbola in coordinate geometry; Functions, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Application of derivatives and Definite integral in calculus.

 

Q. Is the syllabus same for JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 & 2? 

Ans: No. The syllabus of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 and 2 is different.

 

Q. What are the important topics for JEE Main 2019 Paper 2?

Ans: JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 syllabus will consist of topics from Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test. All of the syllabus has to be studied by the candidates to secure good ranks in the entrance examination. The important topics for JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 are listed below:

  • Three dimensional – perception and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, Building forms and elements

  • Colour texture, Harmony and Contrast

  • Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil.

  • Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, Subtraction, Rotation, Development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, Elevations and 3D views of objects.

  • Creating two dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.

  • Sketching of scenes and activities from memory, Landscape.
