JAC Delhi 2025: The Joint Admission Committee, Delhi will publish the JAC Delhi 2025 admission notification on its official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. The registration process for JAC Delhi is expected to begin in May 2025. Candidates must meet the JAC Delhi eligibility criteria 2025 before applying. Admission to B.Tech courses in participating institutes will be based on JEE Main scores. The JAC Delhi 2025 counselling will consist of five rounds, including spot round. The counselling process will include registration, choice-filling, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting to the allotted institutes. What is JAC Delhi Admission?
Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi is a centralized admission process initiated in 2014 by the Government of NCT of Delhi to streamline admissions into undergraduate engineering and architecture programs. This year, the participating universities include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). Admissions are based on the JEE (Main) rank conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). In 2025, 7,333 seats for B.Tech. and 90 seats for B.Arch. will be offered through JAC.

JAC Delhi 2025 Admission Criteria
The authority will release the JAC Delhi admission criteria 2025 on the official website. All the participating institutes of JAC Delhi 2025 have to meet the minimum admission criteria of JAC Delhi. Below are the three JAC Delhi 2025 admission criteria:
- Candidates who desire to get admission in B.Tech courses in institutes such as NSUT, DTU, and IGDTUW will be based on rank obtained in JEE Main 2025 – Paper 1.
- Also, candidates desiring to get admission in the B.Arch course in IGDTUW will be based on their rank obtained in JEE Main 2025 – Paper 2.
- Moreover, admission to IIIT-D is based on the percentile score obtained by the candidates in JEE Main 2025 – Paper 1 and extra marks for achievements in Olympiads, sports, culture, innovation, etc.
JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025
The authorities will release the eligibility criteria of JAC Delhi 2025 on its official website. Candidates have to fulfil certain conditions and requirements to get admission through JAC Delhi 2025. Interested candidates should check the JAC Delhi eligibility criteria mentioned down below.

JAC Delhi 2025 Eligibility Criteria as Per Region
Candidates are divided based on two regions, that is, candidates belonging and applying from the Delhi Region and candidates belonging and applying from Outside Delhi Region.
- Delhi Region Candidates: - Those candidates who are passing their qualifying examination from a recognized school/institute/college located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi will come under this category. These candidates will have a reservation of 85% of the seats.
- Outside Delhi Region Candidates: - Those candidates who pass their qualifying examination outside of a recognized school/institute/college located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will come under this category. These candidates will have a reservation of 15% of the seats.
JAC Delhi Application Form 2025
The authority will commence the JAC Delhi 2025 application form on the official website. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility conditions before applying for the JAC Delhi admission 2025. The application process comprises paying the JAC Delhi Registration-Cum-Counselling Fee, filling out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2025, filling preferences, choice locking, and submitting the application form. Candidates are advised to follow the given steps mentioned below.
Steps to fill JAC Delhi 2025 Application Form
Step 1: Pay JAC Delhi Registration-Cum-Counselling Fee – Candidates are required to make an online JAC Delhi 2025 application fee transaction of Rs. 1500 (plus transaction charges). To initiate the payment process, candidates need to log into the application portal using their JEE Main 2025 application form number and name.
Step 2: Fill Out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2025 – Candidates have to click on the “New Registration” tab. In the next step, candidates have to enter their JEE Main 2025 roll no, D.O.B, nationality, and class 12th passing certificate.
To complete the registration process, candidates have to enter their personal information and create a password as well. After the completion of this step, the JEE Main 2025 roll no. will be the user ID.
Step 3: Fill in Your Preference – Log into the account using the user ID and password. Candidates are required to select institutes and preferable courses. Candidates are advised to fill in as many options as possible on the screen.
Step 4: Choice Locking – Once, candidates are done with the registration process, their selected preferences will reflect on their screens and will automatically get locked.
Step 5: Submission of the Application Form – In the final step, candidates are required to submit their JAC Delhi 2025 application form. Candidates should take a printout for future reference.
JAC Delhi Merit List 2025
The admission authority will publish the JAC Delhi 2025 merit list on the official website. The merit list of JAC Delhi 2025 will be based on the JEE Main 2025 rank and preferable choices filled by the candidates. The merit list will remain for all the institutes/universities – NSUT, IIIT-D, DTU, and IGDTUW.
However, IIIT Delhi along with JEE Main 2025 rank will award extra marks to candidates for achievements in Olympiads, sports, culture, innovation, etc. If two or more candidates have a tie between them, then candidates having a higher JEE Main 2025 score will be given the preference. IIIT Delhi will issue the bonus points list online
JAC Delhi Cut-off 2025
Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi will release the JAC Delhi 2025 cutoff on the official website. To become eligible for admission, candidates have to either score equal to or above the cut-off marks. The cut off of JAC Delhi 2025 will prepare by the concerned authorities based on certain factors. These factors are the total number of candidates applying for admission and the total number of seats available for the B. Tech courses. The cut-off of JAC Delhi 2025 will be released separately for each participating institute.
JAC Delhi Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025
The authority will commence the JAC Delhi 2025 counselling registration process in online mode. Candidates will be able to register and fill out the choice online. Candidates must pay the admission fee of Rs. 1,12,000 at the institute to confirm their JAC Delhi seat allotment. If candidates are not satisfied with their allotted seats then, they can opt for seat upgradation. JAC Delhi counselling 2025 is conducted via online mode. To be a part of the counselling round, candidates have to register themselves first. There are going to be a total of 5 rounds of allotment and more spot round.
On the day of counselling, the selected candidates are requested to be present in person for document verification. Once, the candidates have successfully cleared the verification process, they will be allotted the seat. JAC Delhi seat allotment is based on the JEE Main 2025 rank and the preferred choices.
Spot Round of counselling – Some candidates will opt for seat upgradation, which is why there are going to be some vacant seats. To fill those vacant seats, a spot round will be conducted. Candidates have to pay a spot round counselling fee of Rs. 10,000 to become a participant. This is going to be a non-refundable payment process. If a candidate manages to get a seat, then he/she has to pay Rs. 85,000 as admission fee (spot round fee of Rs. 10,000 will get adjusted).
