JAC Delhi Seat Allotment 2019 - Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi has announced the fourth round result of JAC Delhi 2019 seat allotment on July 18. To check the seat allotment, the candidates will have to log in using their JEE Main application number and password. Previously, the first, second and third round allotment was announced in online mode. The authorities are conducting a total of four rounds of JAC Delhi seat allotment 2019 along with a spot round (if vacant seats are left). JAC Delhi 2019 Counselling
Since there is no entrance examination, the candidates had to register for JAC Delhi 2019 counselling. Registration was open for each round. Admissions are done on the basis of JEE Main ranks. Firstly, the candidates had to submit their JEE Main 2019 application number and name to pay the counselling fee. Payment could be done through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) and offline (cash payment at any State Bank of India branch using e-challan) mode. After payment, registration could be done by submitting JEE Main 2019 application number, application number, name and date of birth. Personal, academic and communication details had to be submitted. Photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities also had to be uploaded. Choice filling and locking as per preference had to be done by the registered candidates.
Counselling Fee - Rs. 1500 (excluding bank charges)
Registered candidates who completed their choice filling process are selected for JAC Delhi seat allotment 2019. The authorities conducted the seat allotment of JAC Delhi 2019 in online mode. Allotment of seats are done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences selected during counselling, category and availability of seats. The result of allotment is announced after every round of counselling. The selected candidates have to log into their account to download and print out the provisional allotment letter.
An initial deposit of Rs. 85,000 will have to be paid before reporting at allotted institute by the selected candidates through online mode or challan at any SBI Branch. After the payment is done, the candidates will have to report to the allotted institutes for verification of documents. A receipt of the paid fee also hadto be submitted. Failure to report at the allotted institute will lead to cancellation of admission.
JAC Delhi 2019 Seat Allotment Upgradation
Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats and do not wish for upgradation will have to request the authorities in writing that they wish to freeze their seats on the day of reporting to allotment.
If there are vacant seats left, then the candidates will be upgraded as per their preferences and rank in JEE Main 2019.
Those candidates who get upgraded will not be required to report at the new institute.
All of those candidates who are allotted upto the end of third round will be considered for upgradation.
JAC Delhi 2019 Seat Allotment Round 2
During the round 2 of JAC Delhi seat allotment 2019, the candidates were allowed to do fresh registration. Those candidates who participated in the previous round were upgraded to fill the vacant seats. The following categories of candidates were eligible for the seat allotment of JAC Delhi 2019 Round 2.
Type I - Candidates who registered for the first round but were not allotted any seats will be eligible for the second round.
Type II - Those candidates who were allotted seats in the first round, paid the required fee and had their documents verified will be eligible if they are still waiting for seat upgradation.
Type III - Fresh registration
Third and Fourth of JAC Delhi 2019 Seat Allotment
The rest of the counselling and seat allotment rounds (excluding the second round) was similar to the first round.
JAC Delhi Seat Allotment 2019 - Spot Round
The spot round of JAC Delhi 2019 seat allotment was conducted after all four counselling rounds were finished. A participation fee of Rs. 10,000 had to be paid by the candidates in online mode. Spot round was held in offline mode. Allotment of seats was done as per merit and preference of seats.
Who will be eligible for Spot Round Seat Allotment of JAC Delhi 2019?
Registered candidates who have not accepted their allotment in any of the participating institute/ university of JAC Delhi 2019 till the final round i.e., Round 4
Registered candidates who have not been allotted upto round 4.
Candidates who have withdrawn their admission from any participating institutes/ university at any stage of the counselling.
Registered candidates who were allotted seat in some round but did not report for admission.
Registered candidates who did not fill any choices during online registration process.
Registered candidates who were allotted seat in some round of counselling but seat was cancelled due to some deficiency.
IGDTUW admitted candidates whose rank is lower than base cutoff rank provided by JAC Delhi 2019

Original and self-attested copy of marks sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. Class XII or equivalent.
Original and self-attested copy of Date of Birth certificate as indicated in High School or equivalent examination i.e. Class X.
Original and self-attested copy for the reserved category / sub-category, if other than the General Category.
Receipt of the applicable fee payment Rs. 10,000 (For spot round)
Demand Draft of Rs. 85,000 issued in favour of “JAC DELHI 2019 ADMISSION FEE” payable at New Delhi (for spot round if the admission fee is not paid in previous rounds)
Medical fitness certificate original in case of General/ SC/ ST/ CW/ OBC/ SG/ TP/ CW/ KM
A certificate of physical disability issued by the Competent Authority as per the provision of the Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 in the prescribed format as given under the Act.
The Candidate with benchmark disabilities shall produce the medical certificate issued by the Govt. Hospitals duly notified by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Other State government and further duly verified by the Chief Medical Officer of the concerned Government Hospital.
A certificate duly recommended by Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for the handicapped, 9-11 Vikas Marg, Karkardooma, Delhi-110092.

The marks and percentage varies greatly as they depend on many factors some like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level, etc. So you can rely somewhat on rank basis. It also depends on your stream as well right. For example streams like Textile Technology Enginerring has cutoff closing rank around 5431 in IIT DELHI where as CS has cutoff closing rank 186.

The admission in DTU are done on the basis of jee mains rank. There are few percent of seat alocated for non Delhi resident. Your son can take admission for those seat. The counselling for them us done through JAC counselling. For more details and cutoff refer this link

This is the last minimum rank you can consider to get an admission in the respective branch.
On the part of percentile:- you have to score near to 97-98 such that you can get a rank near to 10k-30k. There are lots of candidates and if more candidates are ahead of you then that you will get the rank on the position you stand after that.
It is same as queue ranking given like 1,2,3...so on. If there are 10k students ahead of you even when you secure 98% in JEE Mains then your rank will be 1001.
So study accordingly and prepare yourself such that you can make upto the mark.
