Mayank Chowdhary 12th Nov, 2019

The marks and percentage varies greatly as they depend on many factors some like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level, etc. So you can rely somewhat on rank basis. It also depends on your stream as well right. For example streams like Textile Technology Enginerring has cutoff closing rank around 5431 in IIT DELHI where as CS has cutoff closing rank 186.

what is the minimum percentile required for addmission In DTU by jee mains

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 10th Nov, 2019

You can visit the given link below for the last round of counselling rank cutoff given by  board.

http://dtu.ac.in/Web/notice/rank.pdf This is the last minimum rank you can consider to get an admission in the respective branch.

On the part of percentile:- you have to score near to 97-98 such that you can get a rank near to 10k-30k. There are lots of candidates and if more candidates are ahead of you then that you will get the rank on the position you stand after that.

It is same as queue ranking given like 1,2,3...so on. If there are 10k students ahead of you even when you secure 98% in JEE Mains then your rank will be 1001.

So study accordingly and prepare yourself such that you can make upto the mark.

Hope it helps!
