An organized schedule is essential to follow the syllabus in a systematic manner. Give different time slots to every subject and try to maintain a balance of theory and problem-solving. Keep short day-to-day targets and long weekly goals so that your preparation will always be on track. Add revision and mock test time to your schedule. Remember to allocate additional time for difficult topics, so you don't need to rush working on your weak points.

  1. Practice with Previous Year Papers and Mock Tests

Taking mock tests from time to time will get you accustomed to dealing with the stress of the actual test. Mimic real test timing by timing yourself for 3 hours without any disturbance. Critically review your performance after every test—mark the questions you answered incorrectly, realize why, and correct the concepts accordingly. Practicing previous year question papers will also assist you in realizing patterns in questions asked repeatedly and the difficulty level to anticipate.

  1. Work on Speed and Accuracy

As there's no negative marking, you can go ahead and attempt all the questions, but carelessness is crucial in order to achieve a high score. Practice quick solutions of questions without sacrificing correctness. Master shortcuts, formulas, and rapid calculation methods for Mathematics and Physics numericals. For Chemistry, remembering key reactions, periodic trends, and concept overviews will be time-saving during the examination.

  1. Revise Smartly and Maintain Health

As the exam nears, emphasize revision over learning new material. Employ short notes, flashcards, and formula sheets for easy recall. Revise weightage topics repeatedly so they remain fresh in your mind. In addition to studies, practice a good routine—sleep well, eat healthy meals, and drink plenty of fluids. A refreshed and calm mind will work much better than one exhausted due to excess preparation.

Hello dear student,

As you have accepted and upgraded in round 3 COMEDK, your round 3 seat is safe. if you are not happy with the round 4 seat, you can just simply skip it as you will safely keep your round 3 seat . but if you accept the round 4 seat, you must join the college there's no option to cancel or get a refund and if you accept round 4 but don't report to the college, you'll lose your money and also have to pay penalty. so, unless and until you are fully sure about the higher fees, it will better to stay with your round 3 seat.

It is not guaranteed that the fees will remain same for all four years. In private institutions under COMEDK, the fees may increase upto 15% depending on different institutions. For the safer side you can contact in accounts office of your college.
