Hello,
With 87 percentile in JEE Main 2025 and belonging to General EWS Category, you will qualify for JEE Advanced
Looking at the past trends, the cut off percentile for General EWS is around 65-70 ( based on 2024 data )
Final confirmation comes when NTA releases the official JEE Advanced eligibility list (shortly after JEE Main Session 2 result).
Since your JEE score isn’t that great but your 12th marks are solid, don’t worry — you still have good options:
Try state-level exams like MHT CET or COMEDK — they’re easier than JEE and can get you into good private colleges.
Look into direct admission — colleges like MIT WPU, Manipal, VIT, and SRM accept students based on board marks or management quota.
As a backup , you can also consider CUET and go for a B.Sc. in CS — it still leads to great career paths if you stay focused.
ALL THE BEST!!
Yes, you’re eligible for JEE Advanced 2025 as an SC category female with 70 percentile in the Jan attempt. The cutoff for SC is usually much lower (around 50–55), so you’re in a safe zone.
Even if you missed the second attempt due to health reasons, don’t worry — one attempt is enough. You’ve got this, so feel free to start preparing with confidence!
Go for it!
