OJEE Seat Allotment 2017 - The OJEE Board has announced the OJEE 2017 (special) seat allotment result on August 13. Candidates who have qualified in the OJEE Special test held on August 10, 2017 and registered for the counselling can check their seat allotment of OJEE 2017 by logging in. Candidates allotted seats must log in and download their allotment letter to report to the allotted college for document verification and payment of fees. Earlier, the second round of seat allotment was announced. The result of first round of seat allotment of OJEE 2017 was announced on July 1, 2017 by the OJEE Board. The first two allotments were temporary where candidates were required to pay the admission fee (part) as well as the University fees. Candidates are allotted seats based on the Merit ranks prepared on the basis of their JEE Main 2017 score (for the first phase). The merit list considered for the OJEE 2017 Seat allotment is separate for the various categories of applicants. Prior to the seat allotment of OJEE 2017 in phase 1, candidates had to get registered first, enter their choices of courses and colleges. After the seat allotment was announced, all candidates who have been allotted seats were required to report to the nearest nodal centres where document verification was carried out again to confirm the seats. OJEE Seat Allotment 2017: Key Pointers
Allotment of OJEE seats for admission to engineering colleges in Odisha is done based JEE Main 2017 scores
A general merit list of candidates will be drawn based on their JEE Main ranks.
Additionally, separate category-wise merit lists will also be announced
Candidates will have to participate in counselling under their respective merit lists. For example, candidates included in SC merit list will not be considered for admission under ST category.
Reservation of seats for different categories is as per the norms issued by State Government of Odisha

They must carry their documents in original along with a set of copies for verification

Steps to follow after OJEE Seat Allotment 2017:
Temporary Seat Allotment:
During this step, the choices submitted were processed. Seat allotment was in the order of merit rank based on their locked choices. Candidates were sent an SMS alert regarding allotment after the temporary allotment is available. All candidates could just check and read the temporary seat allotment.
Important: Candidates are advised not to report at allotted Institution based upon the Temporary OJEE Seat allotment 2017 as it is not the final one. No college/institution should accept the candidates without final allotment letter.
Candidates must download the seat allotment letter and download the e-Challan of SBI or Axis Bank.
They must pay the part admission fees of Rs 20000 and the University Registration Fees of Rs 5000 at the nearest SBI or Axis Bank branch.
They must carry the allotment letter and the challan duly stamped by the bank to the nearest nodal centre.
They must also carry photocopies of their certificates and submit them to obtain the originals given during the first verification process.
Candidates who desire to withdraw from the OJEE counselling process must approach the same Nodal Centre where their documents were verified within the time limit given. Only the University registration fee will be refunded in the account details given by the candidate during the withdrawal process. All the candidates except those who have withdrawn from counselling after the announcement of the OJEE 2017 temporary allotment will be considered for auto-upgradation and the final seat allotment.
Auto-Upgradation and Final Seat Allotment.
After auto-up gradation is carried out among all the remaining candidates, a final allotment will be announced. Candidates will be sent an SMS alert. Thereafter all candidates can download their respective individual final allotment letters after logging in.
Reporting at the final allotted Institute
Candidates must take the print out of the final allotment letter and report at the College/University within the given time schedule. They must pay the balance fee and complete the admissions formalities.
