OJEE Seat Allotment 2018: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) will be conducting the OJEE 2018 seat allotment tentatively from the fourth week of June 2018. Seats available in the participating institutes will be allotted to eligible candidates through the seat allotment of OJEE 2018. To participate in the OJEE Seat Allotment 2018, the candidates will firstly have to register themselves online and pay the admission fee. OJEE 2018 Counselling
Admissions through OJEE 2018 counselling will be granted only to JEE Main 2018 qualified candidates. Registration has to be done through the candidate’s JEE Main 2018 roll number and date of birth. The candidates will also have to check all their information displayed on the screen and then move on to pay the registration fee. If the candidates fail to register themselves then they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of OJEE 2018.
All of the candidates will have to fill their preferred colleges and courses at the choice filling process of OJEE 2018. The selection should be in the order of preference. The candidates will be able to swap and move options to change the priority of the already filled in choices. Selection of as many choices as possible has to be done by the candidates. A mock allotment will be released based on the choices filled by the candidates. After checking the mock allotment, the candidates can alter their filled choices and lock it.
OJEE 2018 Seat Allotment
Only the registered candidates will be able to participate in the seat allotment of OJEE 2018. Allotment of seats will be done based on the merit ranks of the candidates in JEE Main 2018, their category and their selected colleges and courses preferences. Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) will release a general merit list based on the JEE Main ranks of the candidates. Separate category-wise merit list will also be released.
Temporary Seat Allotment
The candidates will be able to check their temporary seat allotment of OJEE 2018 in online mode. Notification through SMS will also be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number. The allotment of seats will be done based on the ranking, category and preference of the candidates. However, it is important to note that the candidates are advised not to report at the allotted institute based on the temporary OJEE 2018 seat allotment.
The allotted candidates will have to download the seat allotment letter and e-challan of State Bank of India or Axis Bank. The admission fee of Rs. 25,000 (Part admission fee of Rs. 20,000 and University registration fee of Rs. 5,000) will have to be paid through challan. The money receipt received after payment has to be kept safely by the candidates. Payment of admission fee can also be done in online mode (credit card/debit card/net banking) after logging into their account.
Document Verification at Nodal Centres
All of the allotted candidates will have to report at the nodal centres with one set of original and another set of self-attested photocopies of the necessary documents. The admission fee payment proof and allotment letter has to produced at the nodal centre. After the candidates are successfully verified, they will have to report at the computer counter of the nodal centre to get a print out of the documents that the candidates have produced and successfully verified. Those candidates who have been verified will not have to report at the centre for further rounds but will only have to follow their upgradation. If any candidate fails to clear the document verification process, then he/she will be refunded the admission fee of Rs. 25,000. The seat allotted to this particular candidate will be cancelled and will be considered vacant for the next seat allotment of OJEE 2018.

Final OJEE 2018 Seat Allotment
In this stage, all of the previously allotted candidates, along with some new candidates will get final seat allotment of OJEE 2018. The candidates will be able to check their final allotment status online or a notification will also be sent to them through SMS. The final allotment letter will have to be downloaded by the candidates. The newly allotted candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report at the nodal centres to verify their documents. Previously allotted candidates will have to report at their respective institutes to confirm their admission by paying the balance fees.
OJEE 2018 Seat Allotment Withdrawal Process
Those candidates who wish to withdraw from the process of OJEE seat allotment 2018 will have to report at the Nodal Centre within the designated time. The University registration fee will be refunded to the account details provided by the candidates in the withdrawal process.
