OJEE Seat Allotment 2018: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) has released final result for the Special OJEE seat allotment 2018. Candidates can view the OJEE seat allotment status by log-in entering their course, login-id, password and security pin. The allotment rounds for OJEE 2018 (JEE Main qualified candidates) has ended. Seats available in the participating institutes are allotted to eligible candidates through the seat allotment of OJEE 2018. To participate in the OJEE Seat Allotment 2018, the candidates first had to register and pay the admission fee. The preferred choices also had to be selected by the OJEE candidates. The selected candidates are not supposed to report at the allotted institutes until the final seat allotment of OJEE 2018 is announced. OJEE 2018 Counselling


Direct admissions through OJEE 2018 counselling were granted only to JEE Main 2018 qualified candidates. Non-JEE Main candidates had to qualify the special OJEE exam. Registration had to be done through the candidate’s JEE Main 2018 roll number and date of birth. The candidates also had to check all their information displayed on the screen and then move on to pay the registration fee. If the candidates failed to register then they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of OJEE 2018.


All of the candidates had to fill their preferred colleges and courses at the choice filling process of OJEE 2018. The selection should have been in the order of preference. The candidates were able to swap and move options to change the priority of the already filled in choices. Selection of as many choices as possible had to be done by the candidates. A mock allotment was released based on the choices filled by the candidates. After checking the mock allotment, the candidates could alter their filled choices and lock it.


OJEE 2018 Seat Allotment


Only the registered candidates were able to participate in the seat allotment of OJEE 2018. Allotment of seats is done based on the merit ranks of the candidates in JEE Main 2018, their category and their selected colleges and courses preferences.


Temporary Seat Allotment 



The result of second round OJEE 2018 seat allotment has been announced. Candidates were able to check their temporary seat allotment of OJEE 2018 in online mode. Notification through SMS was also sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number. The allotment of seats was done based on the ranking, category and preference of the candidates. However, it was important to note that the candidates were advised not to report at the allotted institute based on the temporary OJEE 2018 seat allotment.


The allotted candidates had to download the seat allotment letter and e-challan of State Bank of India or Axis Bank. The admission fee of Rs. 25,000 (Part admission fee of Rs. 20,000 and University registration fee of Rs. 5,000) had to be paid through challan. The money receipt received after payment had to be kept safely by the candidates. Payment of admission fee could also be done in online mode (credit card/debit card/net banking) after logging into their account.


Document Verification at Nodal Centres

All of the allotted candidates had to report at the nodal centres with one set of original and another set of self-attested photocopies of the necessary documents. The admission fee payment proof and allotment letter had to be produced at the nodal centre. After the candidates were successfully verified, they had to report at the computer counter of the nodal centre to get a print out of the documents that the candidates had produced and successfully verified. Those candidates who had been verified did not have to report at the centre for further rounds but only had to follow their upgradation. If any candidate failed to clear the document verification process, then he/she were refunded the admission fee of Rs. 25,000. The seat allotted to this particular candidate was cancelled and was considered vacant for the next seat allotment of OJEE 2018.

Final OJEE 2018 Seat Allotment



In this stage, all of the previously allotted candidates, along with some new candidates got final seat allotment of OJEE 2018. The candidates are able to check their final allotment status online or a notification will also be sent to them through SMS. The final allotment letter will have to be downloaded by the candidates. The newly allotted candidates have to pay the admission fee and report at the nodal centres to verify their documents. Previously allotted candidates have to report at their respective institutes to confirm their admission by paying the balance fees.


OJEE 2018 Seat Allotment Withdrawal Process



Those candidates who wish to withdraw from the process of OJEE seat allotment 2018 will have to report at the Nodal Centre within the designated time. The University registration fee will be refunded to the account details provided by the candidates in the withdrawal process.
