A total of 11.23 lakh students participated in the JEE Main 2026 April session. For paper 1, around 11.06 lakh students registered and for paper 2, around 54,953 students registered in India. Further, for the January session, a total of 13,04,653 candidates appeared for the exam. A total of 13,55,293 candidates had registered for the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam. The total number of students registered for JEE Main 2026 April session was 1,165,452. Around 11.06 lakh domestically and 4,229 internationally registered for the BTech paper. And for the BArch, 54,953 students registered domestically and 270 internationally.
