CSAB 2025- The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will announce the CSAB 2025 Counselling schedule on the official website, csab.nic.in. The authority will commence the CSAB 2025 special round in July 2025. Candidates who meet the CSAB eligibility criteria can participate in the CSAB counselling 2025. All candidates eligible in JoSAA for the NIT+ System as per JEE Main 2025 will qualify for the special round. The allotment of seats will be based on JEE Main, preferences, and availability of seats.
CSAB 2025 conselling will be conducted separately for the three channels - CSAB NEUT ( North-Eastern states and Union Territories), CSAB UT (supernumerary seats in the Union Territories), and CSAB SFTI (Self-financed technical institutes). The exam authorities conduct CSAB 2025 after completion of the admission process through JoSAA. Candidates who have not been allotted before will be able to register for CSAB 2025 through the different modes of admission channel as given below:

Candidates who meet the necessary eligibility will have to apply for CSAB NEUT 2025 (for North-Eastern States and Union Territories). The admission process will conduct to provide B.Tech seats for candidates belonging to 12 North-East states and UTs (Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, and Daman & Diu).
Admissions will be done based on the JEE Main 2025 scores obtained by the candidates. All of the necessary application processes have to be completed within the timeline given by the exam authorities.

The exam authorities will release the eligibility criteria of CSAB NEUT 2025 for all candidates. Those who do not meet the criteria will lead to the disqualification of the candidates.

Candidates can follow the procedures below for seat allotment through CSAB NEUT 2025. They have to be registered and complete the procedure within the specified time.
Registration - Candidates have to go to the official website and use their JEE Main 2025 application form number and password for registration purposes.
Filling & choices locking - Next, they have to choose their choice of colleges/institutes and courses for admissions. The final selection has to be in the order of preference. All of the choices have to be checked and locked before the last date. Changes can’t be done after the choices are locked by the candidates.
Seat allotment - Candidates can check their seat allotment in online mode only. The seat allotment result will be published by the exam authorities through the official website. Allotment of seats is being done based on their merit, choices, and seat availability. Candidates have to download their allotment letter in PDF format.
Document verification - Finally, they have to report to their allotted institute and verify their original documents. The allotted seats have to be confirmed by paying the required counselling fee.
The registration, fee payment and choice filling for admission through the CSAB 2025 for special round NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will be open in online mode. Candidates who have obtained a valid JEE Main 2025 score can apply for this special round. The eligibility criteria have to be satisfied by the candidates to get admission through the special round.

Candidates have to satisfy some terms and conditions admission will be found in the eligibility criteria of the CSAB 2025 special round. Candidates will have to meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in the CSAB 2025 special round.
He/She should have a valid JEE Main rank.
The JoSAA 2025 eligibility criteria have to be met by the candidates.
Those candidates who participate in JoSAA 2025 but fail to get allotted will be eligible for the CSAB 2025 special round.
It should be noted that those candidates who opted not to participate in the special round after JoSAA will not be eligible for the CSAB 2025 special round admission procedure.
Candidates who are allotted seats through JoSAA 2025 but have not accepted their admission or cancelled their seats will also be eligible for the CSAB 2025 special round.
To participate in the CSAB 2025 special round seat allotment, the candidates will have to follow the steps as under.
Registration:
The candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the registration link. (link will be updated)
Using the JEE Main application number and password, the candidates will have to register for the CSAB 2025 special round.
The documents have to be uploaded as specified by the exam authorities.
Fee Payment: Candidates will have to pay the necessary fee through online mode only (SBI MOPS payment gateway).
Filling and Locking of Choices: They will have to choose their choice of institutes/colleges and courses in order of preference. After the choices are confirmed, they will have to lock and submit them.
Seat Allotment Declaration:
The registered candidates will be allotted seats based on their JEE Main merit, preferences, and availability of seats.
The seat allotment result of the CSAB 2025 special round has been released in online mode.
The selected candidates will have the option to either freeze, float, or cancel their allotted seats.
Seat Allotment Confirmation: Candidates need to confirm their allotted seats by paying the required admission fees.
Online Reporting: Using JEE Main 2025 credentials, the allotted candidates will also have to complete online reporting and confirm their allotted seats. They need to upload the required documents.
Physical Reporting: Finally, they will have to report to their allotted institute directly. It should be noted that the reporting should be done within the time specified by the authorities.
CSAB UT 2025 will be conducted for admissions to candidates who have the state eligibility of Union Territories (Damn & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, and Lakshadweep & Khandvi). The CSAB UT 2025 application form will be available in online mode. Candidates who are not allotted during JoSAA but meet the criteria will have a chance of admission through CSAB UT 2025. The authority will announce the CSAB supernumerary seat allotment result on the official website.

There are many criteria that the candidates will have to satisfy to be eligible for CSAB UT 2025. The exam authorities will release the criteria for all candidates who wish to participate in the admission process. Candidates should satisfy the following CSAB UT 2025 eligibility criteria which have to be satisfied by the candidates.
Candidates must be within the state code of eligibility.
It is important that they should not have been allotted till the special vacant seat filling round OR They should not have reported for any allotment during JoSAA rounds OR They should have reported after allotment to the reporting centre but withdrew till the final round of JoSAA.
Those candidates who reported for their allotted seat at the centres but whose seat was cancelled due to a change in the category and are still unallotted will also be eligible.
Candidates who have paid the initial fee and reported for the allotment to the reporting centre but did not report to the allotted institute till the last date will also be eligible for CSAB UT 2025.
Initial Fee - Gen/OBC NCL candidates - Rs.35000 and for SC/ST/Gen-PWD/OBC NCL PwD/SC PwD or ST PwD candidates - Rs.15000.
Candidates who meet the factors given below will not be considered eligible for admission through CSAB UT 2025:
Those candidates who are allotted seats during JoSAA 2025 also reported to the respective centres within the period given by the exam authorities.
Candidates who are allotted in the Special Vacant Seat Filling round will not be eligible for CSAB UT 2025, irrespective of whether they reported to their allotted institute or not.
The detailed process of CSAB UT 2025 seat allotment includes the following steps:
Registration: The candidates will have to register for CSAB UT 2025 online mode. The application form has to be filled with all of the necessary details. Submission of the application form has to be done before the last date as given by the exam authorities.
Filling of Choices: Next, they will have to fill in their choice of courses and institutes/colleges as per their preference.
Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats based on their JEE Main merit.
Reporting at Allotted Institute: Finally, the candidates must report to the allotted college/institute directly and get their documents verified. The necessary fee has to be paid and the admissions have to be confirmed by the candidates.
CSAB SFTI 2025 will be conducted to provide admissions to eligible candidates into the participating institutes (Self Financed Technical Institutes). JEE Main scores will be taken into account while providing admissions. Registrations are expected to start in online mode only. However, CSAB SFTI was not conducted in the previous session due to a lack of participating institutes. No update regarding CSAB 2025 will be released by the authorities as of yet, so it may or may not be conducted for the present session.

Candidates are advised to check the CSAB SFTI 2025 eligibility criteria before applying. If they are not able to satisfy the eligibility criteria, then they will be disqualified from the admission process. The eligibility criteria will be prescribed by the exam authorities after considering various parameters.
Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exams with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category candidates should have obtained at least 40% aggregate marks.
He/She should have studied and passed each of the following subjects in the 10+2 or equivalent exam - Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Mathematics, any one language, and anyone other subjects.
He/She should have a valid JEE Main Paper 1 rank.
He/She should have qualified JEE Main Paper 2.
They should have obtained aggregate marks of 50% in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
They must have studied Mathematics and they should have obtained minimum passing marks in each of the five subjects.
Candidates applying for CSAB SFTI 2025 will have to check the following procedure for admissions.
Payment of Fees:
Initially, the candidates will have to log into their CSAB account using their JEE Main application number and password.
Candidates need to pay the counselling fee of Rs.21000 through online mode (SBI Collect on State Bank of India portal).
Registration: After the fee payment process is finished, the candidates will have to fill out the necessary details and register.
Filling of Choices:
All of the registered candidates will have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses according to their preferences.
The final selection should be done in the order of preference. Candidates will be able to edit, rearrange and also change their selected preferences before locking and submitting them.
Allotment of Seat:
The candidates will be able to check the CSAB SFTI seat allotment result 2025 in online mode. The seat allotment will be done based on the JEE Main merit, preferences, and seat availability.
The provisional seat allotment letter has to be downloaded and printed out by the candidates for future use.
Reporting at Allotted Institute: Lastly, the candidates will have to report to their allotted institutes to confirm their admission. The remaining fee has to be paid by the candidates to confirm their admission and verification of documents will also be done by the authorities.
