
CSAB UT 2019- Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs through one of it’s channels CSAB UT 2019. The admission through CSAB UT 2019 is conducted for those candidates who have the state eligibility of Union Territories (Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep & Kandvi, Andaman & Nicobar, Dadar and Nagar Haveli). The registration process will start tentatively from the first week of August. Candidates having valid JEE Main scores will be eligible to apply. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the merit and the choices filled by the candidates. CSAB UT Eligibility Criteria 2019
Candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria of CSAB UT 2019 given below:
The candidates should possess state code of eligibility as per the rules of JoSAA 2019 or as notified by the 12th standard qualifying exam mark-sheet or as notified by the Union Territory.
The candidates should not have been allotted a seat during the special vacant seat filling round.
Candidates should not have reported against an allotment in the previous JoSAA rounds.
Those candidates who reported at the reporting centre but their seat was cancelled due to change of category and are still unallotted will be eligible.
Candidates who reported against their allotted seat but withdrew before the sixth round of JoSAA 2019 counselling will be eligible.
The candidates who after paying the initial fee of Rs. 45,000 (Rs. 20,000 for reserved categories)fail to report for allotment will be eligible.
CSAB UT Counselling & Seat Allotment 2019
The candidates who will qualify JEE Main 2019 will be offered admission through CSAB UT 2019 counselling. The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will have to register for CSAB UT 2019. After the successful registration, the candidates will have to fill their preferred choice of colleges and courses from the seat matrix which will be published. The registered candidates will be allotted according to their merit (which will be determined on the basis of Common Merit List), preference and availability of seat. Allotted candidates will have to report to their respective institutes for document verification, payment of fees and completion of admission formalities.
Steps of CSAB UT Counselling 2019
Candidates can check the step by step procedure of CSAB UT counselling 2019 given below:
Step 1- Registration: The first step is to register online by entering the required details. Candidates will have to fill and submit the application form which will tentatively be released in the first week of August.
Step 2- Choice Filling: Candidates will have to fill the choice of colleges and courses as shown in the seat matrix in order of their preference.
Step 3- Allotment of seats: Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of merit based on CRL Rank only. It must be noted that the seat allotment for CSAB UT 2019 will be done only for the remaining seats, after deducting the seats filled in normal course of allotment in home state quota from the total supernumerary seats for that Union Territory.
Step 4- Reporting at the allotted institute: After the allotment, candidates will have to report at the allotted institute for document verification, fee payment and completion of admission formalities. It must be noted that rules regarding category, PwD, Age, State of Eligibility, Qualifications, Original documents, restrictions etc. are the same as JoSAA 2019 rules.
Fee Payment-
If any candidate has deposited the initial fee (Rs 35,000 for GEN, OBC-NCL candidates and Rs. 15,000 for SC, ST, GEN-PwD, OBC NCL PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD candidates) then he/she will have to pay the balance fee (deducting the initial fee) at the time of reporting at the allotted institute.
In case, no initial fee has been deposited then the whole amount has to be paid at the time of reporting to the allotted institute
