CSAB UT 2025 - Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) released the CSAB 2025 supernumerary seat allotment on August 27, 2025. The link for the CSAB 2025 UT seat allotment is updated on the official website, csab.nic.in. The CSAB 2025 supernumerary (UT) registration was conducted from August 24 to 26, 2025. Candidates who meet the set eligibility criteria for Union Territories such as Lakshadweep & Kandvi, Daman & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar, Dadar & Nagar Haveli will be eligible for CSAB UT admission 2025. Applicants with valid JEE Main scores will be able to apply for the CSAB UT 2025 online. Eligible candidates can then apply for the CSAB 2025 counselling.

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for CSAB UT 2025 as outlined by the exam authorities. Here are the key eligibility details for CSAB 2025:
Candidates must have the state code of eligibility as per JoSAA rules, as notified by the class 12 qualifying exam mark sheet, or as specified by the Union Territory.
They should not have participated in previous JoSAA rounds.
They should not have been allotted a seat during the special vacant round.
Candidates who reported to the reporting centre but whose seat was cancelled due to a change of category and are still not allotted will be eligible.
Candidates who reported against their allotted seat but withdrew before the 5th JoSAA 2025 counselling round will be eligible.
After paying the initial fee of Rs.45000 and the candidates fail to report for allotment will be eligible. (Rs.20000 for reserved categories).
Candidates qualifying for JEE Main 2025 exam will be eligible for admission through CSAB UT 2025. Eligible candidates need to register for CSAB UT 2025 as well. After the completion of the online registration process, they will have to fill in their preferred choice of institutes and courses.
The seats will be allotted based on their merit, preference and seat availability. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to their respective colleges/institutes for verification of documents, fee payment and other admission completion formalities.
Students can get the step-by-step process of CSAB UT counselling 2025 as under:
1st Step: Registration - Applicants need to register by providing the necessary details. They will have to open the official web portal for registration. The necessary documents have to be uploaded by then as per the format specified by the exam authorities.
2nd Step: Choice filling - Candidates have to fill the choice of institute/colleges and courses in order of their preference as provided in the seat matrix. Once choices are confirmed, they will have to lock and submit them.
3rd Step: Seat Allotment - Candidates will be allotted seats based on the JEE Main 2025 merit. The seat allotment will be done after deducting the seats filled during the home state quota of the total supernumerary seats for that particular Union Territory.
4th Step: Reporting at allotted Institute - After the seat allotment, candidates will have to report at the allotted college/institute for document verification process, fee payment and completion of admission formalities. It should be noted that rules about category, Age, PwD, State of Eligibility, Original documents, Qualifications, restrictions etc. are the same as JoSAA rules.
Payment of Fee:
If any candidate has deposited the initial fee, then they will have to pay the balance fee at the time of reporting at the allotted institute.
Fee details - Rs. 35000 for GEN, OBC-NCL and Rs.15000 for SC, ST, OBC NCL PwD, GEN-PwD, SC-PwD/ST-PwD.
If the initial fee has not been deposited by the candidate, then the total amount has to be paid at the time of reporting to the allotted institute.
