HEY THERE!!

At 22,000 rank in SC category in JEE Main, you can get admission in Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, but preferably in branches other than core Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.

Easy Cutoff Summary for SC Category (Other State) in PEC :

  • Computer Science Engineering (CSE): Closing rank about 3,700
  • Artificial Intelligence: Closing rank about 2,000
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): Closing rank about 5,000
  • Mechanical Engineering: Closing rank about 10,000
  • Civil Engineering: Closing rank around 10,500
  • Metallurgical and Materials Engineering: Closing rank around 11,500
  • Industrial & Production Engineering: Closing rank around 11,300

What This Means for You:

  1. You will not be allotted CSE, AI, or ECE seats at PEC in SC category at rank 22,000.
  2. You can be taken admission in streams such as Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering.
  3. For home state quota, cut-offs are higher, thus chances of these branches are more if you are eligible under home state.

Conclusion:

  • 22,000 rank (SC category) is good for core branches except some of the most competitive ones like CSE and AI at PEC.
  • You will have to apply and attend counselling, and take all likely branch options to improve your chances.
  • This aspires to be in line with recent cutoff trends at PEC Chandigarh.

Hey there! Several reputable private universities and state-level engineering colleges accept candidates within the 75-80 percentile. Here are some institutions you may consider;

  • SAGE university
  • Arya group of colleges
  • Assam down town university
  • Symbiosis university of allied sciences
  • Glocal university
  • Quantum university
  • Bhai Gurudas group of institutions
  • GITAM( deemed to be university)
  • Nehru Institute of technology

hi,

If you have a valid SITEEE score and want admission to Symbiosis through it, you usually don’t need to submit your JEE score card. Symbiosis accepts SITEEE scores separately for admission.

However, it’s always good to check the latest official Symbiosis admission guidelines or contact their admission office to confirm the exact documents required for your specific course.

Hello,

Yes, if you met the 75% eligibility requirements and passed your board exams in math, physics, and chemistry, you can enrol in NITs as a PCMB student with math as an elective. You have a good chance of getting into an NIT if your JEE Main rank is 19,000, particularly if you apply through your home state quota or in less competitive fields like metallurgy, chemical, or civil engineering. Newer NITs or branches with less demand are likely to have easier CSE or ECE requirements than top NITs. To improve your chances of admission, take part in JoSAA counselling and make a list of several options.
All the best.

Hello Rohit,

You can use a JEE Main college predictor to estimate your chances in REAP counseling. Enter your JEE Main rank, category, and gender in tools like Careers360.

For REAP, admission priorities start with JEE Main rank, then 12th board marks, and diploma qualifications. Expected closing ranks for popular branches are around 18,000 for CSE and 30,000 for ECE.

Counseling and merit lists usually start around July. Share your rank and details if you want a specific estimate.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

Hello there,

With a 74 percentile and 1,38,000 rank in JEE Main, getting a free seat (i.e., full tuition fee waiver or zero fees) in CSE with AI & ML specialization is quite difficult in top NITs, IIITs, or reputed government colleges, especially in the general category.

However, you may have a chance in:

  • Lower-tier private universities or state engineering colleges (especially if your state has tuition fee reimbursement schemes for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or for girl students).

  • Colleges in states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, or Rajasthan where state quota and category reservations may offer subsidized or full fee reimbursement based on eligibility.

If you belong to a reserved category or have applied under fee reimbursement schemes, you might get a seat with minimal or no fees. Please check your state’s counselling portal or mention your category and state for better guidance.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

At this rank in jee mains getting any NIT is impossible if you don't belongs to pwd category. At this rank you can apply for AKTU counselling there are some chances that you can get any college through is counselling because AKTU counselling give colleges at extremely high ranks also. But the colleges are that good and you will get colleges only in UP my recommendation will be to prepare again and give one more try to jee mains or any other state government exam for engineering colleges.

Thankyou

HEY THERE!!

With 967 IPE marks and 90 percentile in JEE Mains, you have a very high probability of getting a CSE core seat in SASTRA University through the usual merit-based admission process.

Admission Process at SASTRA

  1. Stream 1 (70% seats): It is conducted on a combined score: 75% weightage to your Class 12 (IPE) marks and 25% weightage to your JEE Main score.
  2. Stream 2 (30% seats): Only on Class 12 (IPE) marks.

Your Chances

  • Recent times student reports and expert answers indicate that above 900 IPE marks and a good JEE Main percentile (generally above 85–90) are generally sufficient to obtain a CSE seat in SASTRA.
  • SASTRA's CSE cutoff is likely to be tough, but your 967/1000 in IPE and 90 percentile in JEE Main are strong for the CSE core, especially in Stream 1.
  • Last year's cutoff every year is based on the set of candidates, but your profile is on or above the average admitted student profile for CSE.

Conclusion:

With your marks, you have a strong possibility of securing a CSE core seat at SASTRA University, though allotment will finally be made depending on the competition that year and the availability of seats. Attempt to apply through both streams to maximize chances.

Dear candidate,

You have 93 percentile in AEEE and 92.9 percentile in JEE Main, so there is a strong chance of getting admission in several branches such as :

  1. ECE
  2. EEE
  3. CSE in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, especially under Group B (higher fee).

Admission for CSE at coimbatore is competitive but there is a chance if you are from home state.

All the best!
