If you filled the JEE Main January form with Class 12 passed in 2025 and are planning to appear again for the Class 12 exam through HOS, there is usually no serious issue. You were eligible to apply since you had already passed Class 12. Reappearing through HOS for improvement or requalification is allowed, provided HOS is a recognized board. During counselling, your latest valid Class 12 result will be considered. Make sure you meet the 75% marks or top 20 percentile requirement where applicable. If a correction window opens, update details if needed.

Your exam result will still be generated after you take the IIT JAM exam .

But if you do not submit a valid EWS certificate , then:

• Your EWS category benefit will be cancelled .

• Your result may be treated as General category .

• At the admission stage , your candidature under EWS can be rejected if the new certificate is not provided.

In some cases, the JAM office says the result will not be shown under EWS status , not that the exam result itself will disappear.

So please note:

• Old EWS certificate is not accepted if it is not for the required financial year.

• You must submit a new, valid EWS certificate within the given deadline to keep EWS benefits.

If possible, try to get written confirmation (email) from the JAM office to avoid confusion later.

JEE Main accepts NIOS, so you can appear if you meet the basic eligibility.

BITS does not accept marks from two different boards, so this option won’t work for BITS.

VIT and SRM generally accept NIOS, but having two separate mark sheets can be an issue. You should check their official eligibility rules before applying.

The NMMS Himachal Pradesh result 2025-26 has not been released yet .
The result will be declared by SCERT Himachal Pradesh, Solan .
It will be released as a district-wise merit list PDF .

The result is expected to be announced in April 2026 .

Students will be able to check their roll number and marks in the merit list once it is published.

You should keep checking the official SCERT Himachal Pradesh website for updates.
