As the exam has yet to take place, we will update the TS ECET analysis after the exam. It will help you to understand the level of the exam. You can also compare it to the difficulty level of the previous year. Stay tuned for the updates.
You can get an idea about TS ECET 2025 Paper Analysis. checking the TS ECET Previous Year analysis. Here you can check it:
In the previous year’s TS ECET exam, the subject-wise difficulty and performance varied.
1. Mathematics: The Mathematics section was considered moderate to difficult, with students achieving around 38 to 42 good attempts. The questions largely focused on core topics such as Calculus (especially integration and differential equations), Matrices, Trigonometry, and Probability, requiring strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
2. Physics: In Physics, the difficulty level was moderate, with approximately 20 to 25 good attempts. It included conceptual questions from Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Optics, where candidates were expected to apply theoretical knowledge to solve numerical problems. Key topics like Newton’s Laws of Motion, Electricity, and Light Reflection/Refraction were prominent, testing a deeper understanding rather than just memorization.
3. Chemistry: The Chemistry section was easier to moderate, with 22 to 26 good attempts. It covered Organic Chemistry (reaction mechanisms, functional groups), Inorganic Chemistry (Periodic Table trends, bonding), and Physical Chemistry (chemical kinetics, thermodynamics). Most questions were theory-based, making it more accessible for well-prepared candidates.
4. Engineering (Branch-Specific): The Engineering (Branch-Specific) section was moderate to difficult, with 70 to 80 good attempts. This section included diverse topics like Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Engineering Mechanics. It tested both theoretical knowledge and application-based problem-solving, with a heavy focus on Statics, Stress-Strain Relationships, and Heat Transfer. Candidates who performed well here demonstrated a strong grasp of core engineering concepts. Stay tuned for TS ECET paper analysis 2025.

Hii hasini!
With a TS ECET rank of round 3267 you are in a comfortable range to target some of the good University and strong private college. Based on official closing rank records of previous years you can aim for :
1. Osmania University constituent college - this will be a good option specially if you are flexible beyond CSE send some branches you have admitted student beyond the rank of 3000.
2. Malla Reddy group of college ( MREC, MRECW, and allied campuses) as they regularly admit up to and beyond the rank. Placements and exposure is decent too.
3. VNR vignana Jyothi ( VNRV JIET ) - here CSE might get closed earlier but branches like ECE it or civil remain open for 3000 + ranks. So you can keep them on your list.
4. MVSR engineering College and CVR college of engineering - non CSE branches have closing ranks in your range and they are known for decent placements.
5. Kakatiya University - it means sometimes we open near your rank depending up on the course.
6. Private colleges in Warangal - cut off extends 3000 for non CSE branch.
Finally you can also keep some other private colleges as they usually admit well fast 4000 to 5000 and please don't panic as 3267 is not a weak rank it's balanced just be realistic with CSE at top colleges which maybe slightly difficult for you but keep ECE or IT in parallel in order to secure a better institute.
Hii hasini

Hello there,
No, generally you cannot do a 1-year diploma and then directly write TS ECET to get admission into the 2nd year of B.Tech.
Here's why, according to the standard eligibility criteria for TS ECET:
A 1-year diploma typically does not fulfill the requirement of a full 3-year diploma course. The lateral entry scheme is designed for students who have completed the full foundational engineering knowledge provided by a standard 3-year diploma.
Therefore, to be eligible for TS ECET, you would need to complete a full 3-year diploma program first.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
