Candidates who wish to appear for the NUCAT exam must meet the NUCAT eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of NUCAT 2025 comprise education qualification, age and others. Nitte University will release the NUCAT entrance exam 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in. Only those candidates who meet the NUCAT exam eligibility criteria can take the NUCAT exam 2025. The university admits candidates under two categories- General and NRI categories. Age- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission
Educational Qualification- The candidate should have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics, with English as one of the languages of study. Candidates appearing for class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NUCAT.
Age- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission
Educational Qualification- Candidates who are Foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin including Overseas Citizens of India or Candidates who have passed Class 12 outside India or Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India but sponsored by parents/blood relatives having NRI status fall under NRI/Foreign National category. The admission under NRI category will be based on inter-se merit considering the marks secured in PCM subjects in Class 12.

The authorities will send out e-mails containing the links for slot booking to the registered email address. Candidates will have to click on the link and set up their password. Only after setting the password will the applicants be able to book their preferred time slots. Candidates will be able to download and print their admit cards after completing this step. Nitte University will release the rank/merit list on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in most probably in June, after the completion of all three rounds of NUCAT 2025. All the candidates who appear for the NUCAT exam must check the NUCAT results to know their ranks/merit. The qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the NUCAT 2025 counselling process.
Following the declaration of the NUCAT result, the authorities shall conduct NUCAT counselling. Only those candidates whose names appear in the rank/merit list will be able to take part in the NUCAT 2025 counselling session. The counselling will be conducted online.
