Candidates who wish to appear for the NUCAT exam must meet the NUCAT eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of NUCAT 2026 comprise education qualification, age and others. Nitte University will release the NUCAT entrance exam 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in. Only those candidates who meet the NUCAT exam eligibility criteria can take the NUCAT exam 2026. The university admits candidates under two categories- General and NRI categories. Age- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission
Educational Qualification- The candidate should have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics, with English as one of the languages of study. Candidates appearing for class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NUCAT.
Age- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission
Educational Qualification- Candidates who are Foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin including Overseas Citizens of India or Candidates who have passed Class 12 outside India or Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India but sponsored by parents/blood relatives having NRI status fall under NRI/Foreign National category. The admission under NRI category will be based on inter-se merit considering the marks secured in PCM subjects in Class 12.
Nitte University will commence the NUCAT 2026 application form on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in. The application form of NUCAT exam 2026 will available in online mode only. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The NUCAT application form 2026 process will comprise online registration, filling out the form, uploading the documents and payment of the application fee. Understand the exam pattern and syllabus: While preparing for an exam, it is always important to check out the exam pattern, marking scheme, and syllabus. Check the weightage of different topics so that you can divide your time and make a preparation strategy accordingly.
