What is the NUCAT exam?
Nitte University conducts its entrance examination to offer admissions into the B.tech courses, NUCAT. The full form of NUCAT is the Nitte University Common Admission Test. NUCAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must meet the NUCAT eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of NUCAT 2024 comprise education qualification, age and others. Nitte University releases the NUCAT entrance exam 2024 eligibility criteria on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in. Only those candidates who meet the NUCAT exam eligibility criteria can take the NUCAT exam 2024. The university admits candidates under two categories- General and NRI categories. Students can check the category-wise eligibility criteria here.
NUCAT Eligibility Criteria for General Category
Age- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission
Educational Qualification- The candidate should have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics, with English as one of the languages of study. Candidates appearing for class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NUCAT.
NUCAT Eligibility Criteria for NRI Category
Age- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission
Educational Qualification- Candidates who are Foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin including Overseas Citizens of India or Candidates who have passed Class 12 outside India or Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India but sponsored by parents/blood relatives having NRI status fall under NRI/Foreign National category. The admission under NRI category will be based on inter-se merit considering the marks secured in PCM subjects in Class 12.
NUCAT 2024 Application Process
Nitte University will announce the NUCAT 2024 application form date on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in. However, for filling out the application form candidates will need to visit apply.nitte.edu.in. The application form of NUCAT exam 2024 will be available in online mode only. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The NUCAT application form 2024 process will include online registration, filling out the form, uploading the documents and payment of the application fee. All the details of the admission procedure through NUCAT will be sent to the candidates only after the successful completion of registration.

To prepare for the NUCAT entrance exam 2024 effectively, students must follow these most important exam preparation tips.

Only after setting the password will the applicants be able to book their preferred time slots. Candidates will be able to download and print their admit cards after completing this step. NUCAT 2024 Admit Card
The authorities will release the NUCAT 2024 admit card on the official website. NMAMIT aspirants will be able to download the admit card while booking the slot for NUCAT 2024. Candidates must print the admit card for future reference.
NUCAT 2024 Mock Test
Nitte University offers a mock test for the NUCAT exam. The authorities release the NUCAT mock test on the official website. Candidates will require their login credentials and admit card to attempt the mock test. NUCAT aspirants must attempt the mock test to familiarise themselves with the exam pattern and to improve their speed and accuracy. NUCAT 2024 Answer Key

The NUCAT 2024 answer key will be displayed for two days after the test. Candidates will not be able to view the answer key after two days. The answer key will provide the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. NUCAT 2024 Results
Nitte University will release the rank/merit list on the official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in most probably in June, after the completion of all three rounds of NUCAT 2024. The qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the NUCAT 2024 counselling process.
NUCAT 2024 Counselling
Following the declaration of NUCAT result, the authorities shall conduct NUCAT counselling. Only those candidates whose name appears in the rank/merit list will be able to take part in the NUCAT 2024 counselling session. The counselling will be conducted online.
