The MHT CET 2026 exam frequency will be two. The State CET Cell will conduct the Maharashtra CET 2026 exam in two sessions, first in April 2026 and second in May 2026, for PCM and PCB. As per the latest notice for registration, the MHT CET exam centres 2026 are available within state only. That is, the authority will conduct the exam within Maharashtra. State Minister of HTE, Chandrakant Patil, had stated previously that the MHT CET exam will not be held in centres outside Maharashtra, to avoid malpractices. The announcement came after the MHT LLB row.
The authority has not announced any new changes in the MHT CET exam pattern and syllabus. The MHT 2026 exam pattern and syllabus have been released on the official website. MHT-CET is a computer based test conducted only at allotted exam centers, not from home or personal PCs, Students from outside Maharashtra can appear for the exam at selected centres during application. Non-Maharashtra candidates usually can't claim state quota seats through CAP and often use JEE Main scores instead.
