Have a question related to HPCET ?

In case you have managed to get 120 marks in HPCET and if you are in EWS category, then you stand in a very good chance in securing a government pharmacy college. EWS candidates are supposed to have a score of 120 since it is rather good: However, it is only provided that a student has the necessary seat in college and the preference of the college and the required cut off of the year coincide in each of the cases.

Your chances of securing a seat will also be determined by your rank and the govt pharmacy college that you want to secure.

Hello,

With a score of 262 in HPCET and a 78 percentile in JEE Mains, your marks are quite good especially for state colleges in Himachal Pradesh like GHEC Bilaspur. Admission into Computer Science or core branches should be within reach, provided you apply under the state quota.Generally, HPCET cutoffs for general candidates in GHEC Bilaspur hover around 180–250 for most branches. So, with 262, you're in a good position. The 78 percentile in JEE Mains might not get you into NIT Hamirpur, but it's still helpful for counselling preferences.

If you wans to know more information about this college can you check this link:

Thank you!

Hello aspirant,
A score of around 97 marks in HPCET puts you in the mid-range of expected percentile, which usually translates to a rank between 30,000 and 50,000, although exact figures depend on the year. Considering the typical closing marks for ECE at ABVGIET, which is a government-affiliated college in Himachal, the required score for HP quota EWS candidates usually falls in the range of 90 to 110 marks. That means your 97 score is likely just around the cutoff, giving you a fair chance to get ECE, especially in later rounds like mop-up or spot rounds.

Since HPCET counselling allows you to choose branches and colleges based on your rank and category, it's important that you participate actively, list ECE at ABVGIET high, and stay engaged through all counselling rounds. If seats remain unfilled, your score should make you eligible for admission.

Dear Candidate ,
Yes with 80 HP CET marks , you surpass typical cutoffs for state - quota entry into JNGEC. You are very likely to obtain a seat in core branches like Civil , Mechanical or  Textile, more competitive streams like E&C or AI may require a bit higher score , but admission is still feasible with your JEE percentile backing it up .

80 mark in HPCET, it’s very unlikely you will get a seat in Jawaharlal Nehru Government engineering College or other Himachal Government engineering colleges. Chapati
