Candidates who are shortlisted based on the KEAM rank list are eligible for counselling and seat allotment of KEAM 2025. Check the process below.
To understand the KEAM 2025 counselling process, candidates can follow the steps given below:
1. KEAM 2025 Counselling Registration - Candidates need to register for counselling using their application number and password. During registration, candidates are required to enter their roll number and other necessary details.
2. Choice Filling - After registration, candidates have to log in to the KEAM candidate portal and fill in their preferred choices of courses and colleges. They can choose from a list of Course-College combinations available for allotments through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Candidates can edit, rearrange, and delete their choices as per their preference.
3. Review of Filled Choices and Print Out - Candidates must review all the submitted choices and take a printout of the same after submitting their preferred choices of courses and colleges.
4. Trial Seat Allotment - CEE conducts a trial KEAM seat allotment before the closure of option entry during the 1st Phase of allotment. This trial seat allotment of KEAM gives an idea about the chances of getting an allotment to a course and college based on the options and rank of the candidates. However, it does not guarantee the candidate will get an allotment in a college or course.
5. KEAM Seat Allotment - After the choice-filling process is completed, the authorities has released the KEAM seat allotment result on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in keam 2025. Candidates can check the KEAM 2025 seat allotment result using their application number and password. Candidates who will be allotted seats must download the KEAM allotment memo which mentions the allotted college and course details, and the fee to be remitted.
After the KEAM seat allotment process, candidates who receive a fresh allotment need to remit the required fees to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. This can be done either by visiting any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by making an online payment. The list of Post Offices with this facility will be available on the website. Once the fee is paid, candidates should join the college/course allotted to them. After making the payment, candidates will receive a fee receipt. It is important to note that candidates who fail to pay the fee before the last date will lose their seat allotment, as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs.

Reporting at the College- After making the payment, candidates must report to their assigned colleges as per the schedule and carry all necessary documents for the verification process. The list of required documents is given below-
Candidates who have valid options and wish to participate in the third round of KEAM 2025 counselling and seat allotment will be required to log in to the candidate portal. They will need to confirm their options by clicking the 'Confirm' button available on their option registration page. It is important to note that candidates can delete any unwanted options or alter the priority of existing options only after the online option confirmation.
Furthermore, after each KEAM 2025 allotment, the options below the allotted one of the candidate will be automatically removed from their option list.
The Mop-Up Counselling for KEAM will be conducted to fill up any remaining vacant seats after completing the centralized allotment process. All qualified candidates who are included in the rank lists are eligible for the Mop-Up KEAM counselling.
However, the options submitted by such candidates will be considered for allotment only if they upload the required documents to clear any defects and release their ranks before the due date.
