Q: Is the JEE Main exam pattern 2025 changed?

Ans: Yes. NTA has revised the JEE Main exam pattern. As per the JEE Main new pattern 2025, the option to choose 5 out of 10 numerical questions in section B of papers 1, 2A and 2B has been removed.

Q: Who is eligible for JEE Main 2025?

Ans: Candidates who have completed or are appearing for their class 12th or equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to attempt the JEE Main 2025 exam.

Q: Can I correct my online application form for JEE Main 2025?
Ans: An opportunity for making corrections in the particulars of the application Form on the website will be provided after the closing date of the online submission of the application form.

Q: Can I add more sessions (session 1 or session 2 of 2025) during the correction window period?
Ans: The candidate can add session 2, along with the session he/she already selected while filling out the application form, during the correction window period. The fee for the added session will also be paid by the candidate.

Q: Can I remove any selected session (session 2 of 2025) during the correction window period?
Ans: Yes, the candidate can remove Session 2 of 2024 during the correction window period. However, the fee for the removed session will not be refunded.

Q: Can I interchange sessions (from Session 1 to Session 2 or vice versa) during the correction window period?
Ans: No, there is no provision for interchange sessions.

Q: Can I add more Paper (Paper 1 or Paper 2A or Paper 2B) during the correction window period?
Ans: Yes, candidates can add more paper during the correction window period. The fee for added paper will also be paid by the candidate.

Q: Can I remove any selected Paper during the correction window period?
Ans: Yes, the candidate can remove or add any selected Paper (Paper 1 and/or Paper 2A and/or Paper 2B) during the correction window period. An extra fee (if any) will be paid by the candidate. However, the fee for the removed paper will not be refunded.

Q: When will JEE Main result 2025 be released?
Ans: NTA will announce the JEE Main 2025 result date for session 1 on February 12, and session 2 on April 17, 2025. The authority will update any changes in the JEE Main result date on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Q: When will JEE Main 2025 answer key be released?
Ans: NTA will release the JEE Main answer key 2025 a few days after the exam. candidates will be able to check the JEE Main 2025 answer key date in the official notification.

Q: When will Final JEE Main 2025 answer key be released?

Ans: The Final JEE Main2025 answer key will be released after the preliminary answer key. The JEE Main 2025 final answer key will be released after considering all the valid objections against the provisional JEE answer key. The answer key dates will be provided in the JEE Main information brochure.

Q: When will JEE Main 2025 application form be released?

Ans: NTA released the JEE Main 2025 application form for session 1 on October 28, 2024.

Q: What is the last date of JEE Main 2025 registration?

Ans: The last date to submit the JEE Main 2025 application form for session 1 is November 22, 2024.

Q: What are the JEE Main 2025 exam dates?

Ans: NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam from January 22 to 31, while session 2 will be held tentatively from April 1 to 8.

Q. In how many sessions will JEE Main 2025 be conducted?
Ans: JEE Main exam 2025 will be conducted in two sessions - January and April.

Q. What precautions should I take while appearing for JEE Main 2025 during the pandemic?
Ans: Candidates should make sure to keep their noses and mouths covered during commutation and while in the JEE Main exam centre. Touching any surface should be avoided and regular use of sanitiser is recommended.

Q. What will be the advantages of Multiple Sessions in JEE Mains 2025?
Ans: This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in one attempt. Also, If anyone misses the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as the Board examination), then he/she will not have to wait for one full year.

Q. In which session Paper 1 (B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch (2A) & B.Planning (2 B) be conducted?
Ans:
NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam for B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1) and JEE Main 2024 B.Arch. & B. Planning (Paper 2A/2B) for both January and April sessions.

Q. Is there a negative marking in Section B of JEE Main 2025?

Ans: Yes, There will be negative markings for both Sections i.e. Section A (MCQ) and Section B (Numerical value).

Q. Can candidates apply for one session or more than one session together?
Ans: Candidates have the option to apply for one session or more than one Session together and pay the exam fee accordingly.

Q. What is new in JEE Main 2025?
Ans: NTA has revised the JEE Main exam pattern 2025. Moreover, the JEE exam centre is reduced. Candidates can check the official brochure for details information on the JEE Mains exam 2025.

Q. How many attempts can I give in JEE Main 2025?
Ans: The total number of attempts will be two in JEE Main 2025 as the exam will be conducted in two sessions.

Q. Whether a candidate has to fill up the separate Application Form for each session?
Ans:
No, the candidate has to fill up one application form for all sessions. If he/ she fills up now, there will be only one Application Form. If he fills up now (for a few sessions), and chooses to fill up the application for the other sessions later, the same Application Form will be shown to him later on, once the Application Forms.

Q. Can a candidate correct/ change his/her particulars including the City of Exam Centre in the Online Application?
Ans:
No, candidates cannot correct/ change his/her particulars including City of Exam Centre in the Online Application.

Q. If any candidate did not apply for the first session, can he/she apply for the remaining session?
Ans:
Yes, if any candidate did not apply for the first Session, then he/she can apply for the second session. The application window will be re-opened briefly immediately after the declaration of the result of the first session.

Q. Which score will be considered in the compilation of Result and Preparation of Merit List / Ranking?
Ans:
A candidate has a choice to appear in one/ more sessions. He/ she will receive an NTA score in each session based on performance. The candidate’s best NTA Scores of all the sessions in which he/ she has appeared will be considered for preparation of the Merit List/ Ranking.

Q. I have no access to a computer and no experience with online exams. How can I prepare for the exam?
Ans: More than 4000 schools and engineering colleges with internet and computer facilities in every region will be facilitating free practice sessions every Saturday and Sunday for JEE Main 2025 aspirants. Student registration has to be done in online mode.

Q. Is it mandatory to give the exam two times or can I give it once? If I give the exam both times, which score will be considered?
Ans: This will be purely the candidate's choice. Whether he/she wishes to give one attempt or two is entirely up to them. In case they have attempted both exams, the better of the two scores will be used to rank in the merit list.

Q. When will mock tests be available? How do access them?
Ans: JEE Main 2025 mock tests will be available in online mode on the official website of NTA. nta.ac.in. Candidates can also access mock tests of JEE Mains 2025 from various coaching institutes or online websites.

Q. Which scanned images have to be uploaded in the JEE Main application form?
Ans: Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, class X certificate and PwD certificate in the application form of JEE Main 2025.

Q. Is Aadhaar Card number mandatory for JEE Main 2025?
Ans: No, the Aadhaar Card number is not mandatory for JEE Mains 2025. Candidates can use any Government identity number such as Passport, voter ID, ration card, and more.

Q. When will slot booking be available for JEE Main 2025?
Ans: There will be no slot booking. Allotment of slots will be done randomly by the NTA authorities.

Q. How will I receive the NTA JEE Mains city intimation slip?
Ans: NTA will release the JEE Main city allotment slip 2025 on the official website. Candidates will require their JEE Main login details to download the city intimation of JEE Mains 2025.

Q. When will we be able to access the admit card for JEE Mains 2025?
Ans: NTA will announce the JEE Main 2025 admit card date online. The admit card of JEE Main 2025 will be issued on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Q. How can I download my documents of JEE Main 2025?

Ans: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling of JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates.

The JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be able to apply for admission into 32 NITs, 26 IIITs, and 40 CFTIs. From 2019, 2 IIITs and 5 CFTIs have been added to the list of JEE Main participating institutes.

Ans: JEE Main exam dates 2025 for Bahrain candidates is January 22 to 31. It must be noted that the JEE Mains 2025 exam will be conducted only for those candidates who will choose exam centres in Bahrain.
