Hello there,
For JEE Advanced, the syllabus for B.Tech and B.Arch students is largely the same in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but B.Arch candidates also have an additional section on Aptitude and Drawing.
Topics likely to be asked:
Physics: Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, Thermodynamics
Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry
Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Vector and 3D Geometry
Aptitude (for B.Arch): Visualization skills, 3D perception, Architectural awareness
Drawing (for B.Arch): Drawing and sketching related to architecture and building forms
Preparation tips:
Master NCERT textbooks thoroughly as a base.
Solve previous years’ JEE Advanced papers and mock tests.
Focus on problem-solving speed and accuracy.
For B.Arch, practice drawing and aptitude tests regularly.
Time management and conceptual clarity are key.
Join coaching or online courses if needed, especially for drawing and aptitude.
In summary, the core syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths is the same for both B.Tech and B.Arch, but B.Arch has additional Aptitude and Drawing sections in JEE Advanced. Prepare accordingly.

Hello! It’s hard to say exactly if JEE Advanced 2025 will be tougher than 2022, but usually the difficulty varies every year. If you expect to score around 41 marks in JEE Advanced and you belong to the SC category, your category rank might be around 8,000 to 12,000 based on past trends. The 2022 paper was considered moderately tough. Focus on doing your best, prepare well, and don’t worry too much about which year was harder.
JEE Advanced 2025 score of 37 marks and belonging to the ST category , you are likely to be eligible for the Preparatory Course Rank List . This program is designed for candidates who do not meet the standard cutoff but are close to it, providing them with an opportunity to prepare for regular undergraduate programs at IITs. successfully completion of the one-year preparatory program, you can secure admission into undergraduate programs at IITs
I can’t directly show your JEE Advanced result from your response sheet, but here’s what you can do: After the exam, the official JEE Advanced website releases the answer key and response sheets. You can check your response sheet to see which answers you marked. Once the official results are announced (usually a few weeks after the exam), you can log in on the JEE Advanced website using your credentials to see your score and rank. Keep an eye on the official site for updates!
