    AP EAMCET 2026 Qualifying Marks: The JNTU Kakianad has declared the qualifying marks for AP EAMCET on the official website. As per the latest notification, candidates who belong to OC, BC, and EWS categories must get at least 40 marks out of 160 (25%) marks in the AP EAMCET 2026 to pass the exam. Minimum qualifying marks are not prescribed, however, for SC & ST category candidates. The marks secured in the Engineering and Agriculture and Pharmacy Entrance Aptitude Test (EAMCET) are significant as they play a decisive role in the AP EAMCET counselling process for engineering, agriculture and pharmacy admissions in various colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

    Category Wise AP EAMCET Qualifying Marks 2026

    The rules are different for different reservation groups. The qualifying requirement for the different categories is given below:

    AP EAMCET 2026 Exam Pattern

    Students must know the exam pattern to get a clear idea of the AP EAMCET 2026 qualifying marks. The AP EAMCET examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) with three main subjects namely Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For Engineering, Mathematics is the most weightage question paper having 80 questions and Physics and Chemistry each have 40 questions. The question paper consists of 160 objective type questions (1-mark each). The most significant benefit of the AP EAMCET exam is that there is no negative marking for the incorrect responses. This will enable students to take a shot at every question without fear of losing marks and potentially increase their overall grade and qualification.

    Combined score is used to prepare the AP EAMCET Rank. In general, both, Intermediate (Class 12) marks and the AP EAMCET marks, carry weightage in the ranking.
