Hello Mahitha,

At an 88.57 percentile in JEE Main, a CRL rank of 168000 and an EWS Category rank of 24000, the likelihood of receiving CSE or other top branches in NITs/IIITs through CSAB counseling are almost negligible, especially for general/open category seats. That said, as a female EWS candidate, you may have a few chances in:

  • Lower ranked NITs/IIITs (NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, IIIT Una, IIIT Bhagalpur, etc.)
  • Non-core branches (Civil, Metallurgy, or Biotechnology)
  • Home state quota, if applicable and available at CSAB

Hello Aspirant,

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 145214 and OBC-NCL rank of 48284 with Uttarakhand domicile you have chances of getting admission in College of Technology Pantnagar (COT Pantnagar) through UTU counselling. However this will depend on cut-off trends, seat availability and your branch of choice.

Note that COT Pantnagar fills B.Tech seats through UKSEE/UTU counselling and based on JEE Main scores. Being a Uttarakhand domicile and OBC-NCL category should help you with state quota reservations. If you wish to improve your chances:

  1. Apply through UTU counselling.
  2. Look for branches that have relatively low cut-offs.
  3. Keep under similar colleges in UTU also as backups.

Hello Aspirant,

In JEE Main, questions are mostly conceptual and test your understanding, application, and problem-solving skills in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

1.Multiple Choice Questions

2.Numeric Based questions

  • Questions are based on Class 11 & 12 syllabus

  • Mix of easy, moderate, and difficult levels

  • There is also negative marking so you should be aware before answer that questions.

All the best for your examination.

Hello aspirant,
The full form of JEE Mains is Joint Entrance Examination Main, and for JEE Advanced, it is Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. These are national-level engineering entrance exams conducted for admission into top institutes like NITs, IIITs (via JEE Main) and the IITs (via JEE Advanced). JEE Main is the qualifying exam to appear for JEE Advanced.

Dear Candidate ,
JEE Main : Joint Entrance Examination - Main . ( Conducted by NTA ( National test agency ) .
JEE Advanced: Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced . ( Conducted by IITs on a rotational basis )

For appearing in JEE Main, there is no minimum percentage requirement in your 12th class marks. However, for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, you will need at least 75% marks (or be in the top 20 percentile) in your 12th class exams. If you are from a reserved category (SC/ST/PwD), the minimum is 65%.

In simpler terms:

To take the JEE Main exam: You can appear regardless of your 12th-grade percentage.

To get into an IIT, NIT, IIIT, or CFTI: You need to meet the 75% or top 20 percentile requirement in your 12th class.

For JEE Advanced (to get into IITs): You need 75% marks (or be in the top 20 percentile) in 12th. Reserved categories need 65%.

Your 12th marks don't affect your JEE Main rank .

Therefore, you can share your 12th marks, but they won't determine your eligibility for JEE Main itself, only for admissions to certain institutions based on JEE Main scores.

Hello Saniya,

If you have completed BSc 1st year in the 2021-2022 session, have taken a drop to prepare for NEET, and in 2025 secured an admission for MBBS then the papers required from your previous college and medical college are:

From your First College (BSc):

  • Transfer Certificate (TC): To indicate that you formally left the previous college.
  • Migration Certificate: If your BSc College was affiliated to a different university or board.
  • Character / Conduct Certificate: It'll be generated from the principal of your BSc college.
  • Mark Sheet/ Passing Certificate: For 1st year BSc (if applicable).

For MBBS Admission: NEET Admit Card & Score Card, Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and Passing Certificates, Domicile Certificate (if applicable), Caste Certificate & EWS Certificate (if applicable), Passport-size Photographs, Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.), Allotment Letter from MCC/State Counseling and Medical Fitness Certificate (in prescribed format)

Hello I am fine and hope you are doing well. The April 2025 JEE Mains exam paper cannot be officially shared here. But you can get similar practice papers and memory-based question papers from reliable coaching institutes or offline books based on the same pattern. These will help you understand the level of questions and improve your preparation. You can also solve previous year papers to get familiar with important topics and question trends.

Hello aspirant,

The JEE Main test is administered by the National Testing Agency in 13 different languages.  Along with Hindi, English, and Gujarati, the languages in which the paper is conducted are Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

So, yes you can give JEE MAINS exam in Hindi language.

Thank you

With a JEE Main CRL of 241687, you can likely get into NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes) depending on the specific branch and your category. Consider exploring options like NIT Goa, NIT Raipur, NIT Agartala, and others, as well as IIITs like IIIT Guwahati, IIIT Kalyani, IIIT Una, and IIIT Chittoor. You can also look at GFTIs like Birla Institute of Technology, Deoghar and Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (Haridwar).
