While the conducting body West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has put some eligibility criteria for appearing in WBJEE, The exam is based on the subject matter of Physics, Chemistry and Maths of class 11 and Class 12 and. Clearing the entrance exam gives students admission to undergraduate programmes offered by many govt. and private engineering colleges. The seats are allotted on the basis of a student’s performance in WBJEE and counselling conducted for admission.
