TNEA 2025 Cutoff

TNEA 2025 cutoff is calculated using the normalisation formulae. Maths, Physics, and Chemistry marks of 10+2 will be taken into consideration while preparing the TNEA cutoff. The total aggregate marks for the TNEA cutoff are 200. TNEA score is equal to the Class 12th Maths marks + physics divided by 2, plus chemistry divided by 2. DOTE Tamil conducts Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) every year for admissions into undergraduate engineering courses. Read the article below to know the complete details regarding the TNEA cutoff.

How the TNEA Score is Calculated

Tamil Nadu Engineering aspirants need to score the minimum marks to secure admission into various engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu. That minimum mark is called the TNEA Cutoff. There is no entrance exam to decide the TNEA cutoff. It is completely based on the class 12 marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry out of 200 marks. This score is used to determine the TNEA cutoff. Follow this method to get your TNEA score. TNEA score (out of 200) = Maths + (physics/2)+(chemistry/2). The TNEA cutoff calculation method is shown in the table below.
