QnA related to TS EAMCET

Ask your question related to TS EAMCET

Yes, you can get a seat in VNRVJ with this rank of 26154. But there is a problem for you if you want to get admission to popular branches like computer science and related branches: you have a very low chance. Generally in the range of ranks 25000 to 50000, you can secure branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical in the second phase of the counseling, but for the CSE, you need a better rank. Still, you can try for the CSE.

GOOD LUCK!!

You got a rank of 11457 in EAMCET. It means you can get a seat in VNRVJIT at the CSE branch, but it's not 100% that you will get a seat. Because if you research past cutoffs, your rank doesn't include the cutoff range, like in 2023, the cutoff rank is 2023, which means it varied every year, so you need to be careful. Because you're an EWS, you will get a 10% reservation, which can be very helpful, but there is still competition in this EWS category. I suggest you participate in all of the counseling rounds and research past cutoffs while considering other options for your backup.

I hope it helps you!!

Hello,

Full fee reimbursement in TS EAMCET is mainly for students from poor financial backgrounds.

  • One main condition is that the student's family income should be below Rs. 2 lakh per year (for non SC/ST) and Rs. 2.5 lakh (for SC/ST).

  • Another condition is studying in a Government Junior College (GJC).

  • Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) is a central government school, not a state-run Government Junior College.

  • So, students of KV are not eligible under the “studied in Govt Junior College” condition.

  • KV students must meet income and reservation criteria to get fee reimbursement.

Hope it helps !

4,You must need to take admission through TS EAMCET counselling

es, in most cases, a photocopy of your 4th to 8th class bonafide certificate is accepted during TS EAMCET counselling , as long as you submit the original bonafide certificates from 9th to 12th . The certificate from classes 4 to 12 is required to prove local candidature , but officials usually verify the later years (especially 7th to 12th ) more strictly.

Since you have the originals from 8th to 12th , and a copy for 4th to 8th, you should be allowed to participate in the counselling. However, the final decision is with the document verification officer.

Hello aspirant,
With an ST category rank of around 41,126 in TS EAMCET, your chances of getting Computer Science or ECE in top government colleges are very low, as the cutoffs for ST in those branches usually close much earlier. However, you still have a fair chance of getting branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, especially in the later rounds of counselling or spot admissions.

In private colleges, many good institutes offer these branches at higher ranks. You can aim for Mechanical or Civil Engineering in colleges like Malla Reddy, CMR, MVSR, or Aurora. Some of them keep seats open till very late ranks for ST candidates.

So yes, while top-tier CSE might not be possible, you definitely have a good shot at getting into private engineering colleges in core branches if you participate actively in all counselling rounds.

To check which colleges you can get through TS EAMCET based on your rank, you can use the TS EAMCET College Predictor Tool . This tool gives you a list of colleges and branches you are likely to get based on:

  • Your TS EAMCET rank

  • Your category (OC, BC, SC, ST, etc.)

  • Your gender and local region (OU/SVU/AU)

Hello Aspirant,

If your school in West Bengal (where you studied 4th–7th) will not provide you with a bonafide certificate and TS EAMCET requires you to provide study certificates from 6th–12th, here’s what you can do:

  1. Provide Your Available Study Certificates: You can provide the study certificates for 6th–12th, but since you are missing 6th and 7th, you need to bring to the notary's attention that you have been trying to get the two certificates, so they understand that the school will not issue your certificates.  Since the certificate from the school will not be archived, it won't be just the study certificates for 6th and 7th by the school.
  2. Affidavit or Notarized Declaration: Attend a notary office and have an affidavit where you say you studied 6th and 7th in West Bengal, and the school will not issue the certificate. The affidavit will likely be acceptable in both of these situations.
  3. Local Candidate Status: You studied 1st- 3rd and 8th-12th in Telangana, so under the 7-year study rule you are a local candidate for Telangana. So, when you fill our the local status on the application form, it will be valid.
  4. Contact the convenor's office: It would also be a good idea to means to contact TS EAMCET authorities to explain the situation with proof to verify your situation. They may accept the affidavit for the missing study certificates.

Hello

Yes, you can still get a free (government) seat through TS EAMCET

  • Apply online for TS EAMCET & participate in counseling.

  • In seat allocation, choose government colleges and your preferred engineering branches.

  • Monitor cut-off trends for non-local candidates in your category.

  • If your rank is within the non-local cut-off, you'll likely get a free government seat.

hi,

28,000 rank in TS EAMCET and as a BC-E (minority) girl candidate, getting a CSE seat in GRIET is difficult because the closing ranks for CSE in GRIET usually go much lower. For BC-E category, the CSE closing rank is mostly around 12,000 to 15,000. Your rank is higher than the usual cutoff, so the chance is low for CSE in GRIET. You can still try in counselling
