Questions related to Anna University, Chennai
how can otherstate students are get an admission in tamilnadu??
Please be more specific regarding your query because you didn't mention which stream you are intended to study as regulations vary from stream to stream like Engineering or medical paramedical or arts.
For basic counselling process, the following is there criteria,
You can be other state student but if you belong to Tamilnadu as native place then you can get admission.
If not at least your parents should be working in Tamilnadu state government or Central government employee.
Or else you can try for management quota.
These criteria are general and common but few criteria get modified or added or leverage to get admission. so kindly choose the university e you have planned to study and go through the admission procedure on their website. You can also ask in detail in this QNA portal- https://www.careers360.com/
WHICH TO CHOOSE SASTRA OR VIT CHENNAI OR ANNA UNIVERSITY (CEG)
You have mentioned 3 colleges that is sastra university, vit and anna university. Comparing the three the best one is anna university then Sastra University and lastly vit. However the study material also depends on the course you want to pursue. Because every college has its own strength and weaknesses.
All the best!
How Good Is SASTRA When compared with ANNA UNIVERSITY CEG, MIT(Madras institute of technology).? Which to choose SASTRA OR MIT ?
Once again same fact will be used as in previous question asked by you, there is only BE in Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai but although you will have slight edge towards MIT because it is government college. If we talk about Anna University then it itself does not offers ECE course but some of the affiliated colleges do have so you can go for any one of them. But although I would prefer you to go with SASTRA University if you don't have any kind of financial crisis because fee of SASTRA University is little bit higher as compare to MIT because MIT is a government college and hence it's fee is quite low.
If you are not placement oriented then MIT, Chennai will be the best place for you.
