The authority will update the TNEA application form 2025 on the official website. The eligible candidates must keep the required documents handy before filling the application form of TNEA 2025. Below are the steps to fill out the TNEA application form 2025.
Registration: Visit the TNEA official website, tneaonline.org and fill in the required details like name, registered mobile number, email ID, date of birth, gender etc. Once done, submit the OTP received on the registered mobile number to get the user ID.
Fill application form: Login to the candidate portal with the help of the allotted User ID and create a password to fill the TNEA Application form at tneaonline.org. Fill out the form by providing personal information like nationality, gender, parent's name, address, and valid ID proof. Provide the special reservation information ( if any). The special reservation category includes sports reservations, ex-serviceman categories, and differently-abled reservations.
TNEA Application Form 2025 Fees - Candidates can pay the TNEA registration fee online. Candidates are required to check the TNEA 2025 fee structure and pay the amount via debit/credit card or net banking. However, if any candidate wants to pay TNEA application fee via demand draft, it should be drawn in favor of “The Secretary, TNEA" payable at Chennai.

Scholarship information - Once the application fee is submitted, candidates have to fill in the details about the prescribed scholarship.
School of study information - After scholarship information, candidates will have to submit the particulars about class 7 to class 12. Once filled, click 'Save and Proceed' to the next step.
Academic information - This step requires candidates to enter information about the qualifying exam, such as board name, passing year and the marks scored.
Additional information - The candidates further need to provide information about their mother tongue, medium of instruction, parent's occupation, etc.
Preview/ Submit application form - Once all the required information is filled, candidates have to "Preview" the particulars added. Once all the details are cross-checked, click on the "Submit" button.
Download and Print TNEA application form - Candidates have to take a print of the TNEA application form and submit it at TFC along with the prescribed documents.
In case any candidate forgets their TNEA login credentials, they can reset them using these simple steps:

Click on "Forgot Password"
Enter the registered mobile number, date of birth, verification code
click on submit.
A link to set a new password will be sent to the registered email address.
The candidate can then reset the password.
TNEA application form will be available on the website, tneaonline.org.
There is no provision to edit the TNEA application form 2025.
Candidates can visit the official website - tneaonline.org and search for "forget password". After entering the registered mobile number and verification code, candidates can reset the password from the registered email address.
The extra amount paid will be returned to the bank account within 30 days.
The TNEA application form date will be released online.
To be eligible for TNEA, candidates must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent education from a recognized board or university. They should have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. For general category candidates, a minimum of 50% marks in the Class 12 or Intermediate level is required to meet the eligibility criteria.
Candidates are required to achieve a 50% aggregate for general category candidates and 45% for those in reserved categories in mandatory subjects, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Furthermore, it's essential that candidates have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades from educational institutions in Tamil Nadu.
