Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET), under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, established Industrial Training Institutes (ITI). They provide scope for students who wish to pursue technical fields. Delhi has around 19 government ITIs and 34 private ITIs most of which are considered top ITI colleges.

Process for admittance begins around the month of June and continues until several rounds of seat allotment. Based on the type of subject chosen by the applicant, fees may range between ₹1,600 to ₹71,000. Educational eligibility criteria varies from 8th to 12 class, depending on the field of work. The minimum age must be 14 years, with age relaxation available under certain conditions. The entire coursework lasts a maximum duration of two years.
