Amrita University has announced the AEEE seat allotment for mop up round 2 on July 17, 2025. • Mark sheet of 10th & 12 class

  • AEEE 2025 Hall ticket (duly signed by the Invigilator)

  • Transfer Certificate (if applicable) and Conduct Certificate from the Institution attended

  • Community Certificate( by SC / ST / BC / MBC / OBC candidates)

  • If TC is not available, a letter from the Principal to this effect should be submitted with the name of the Higher Secondary School and the State where the candidate last studied properly mentioned.

AEEE 2025 Counselling: Seat Acceptance

Following seat allotment, candidates must engage in seat acceptance. This process enables candidates to either accept their allotted seat or opt for a higher preference. The available seat acceptance options for candidates include:

Option 1: Accepted

This indicates that candidates who have agreed to the offer presented in any of the CSAP rounds can choose to either switch to a more preferred branch or, within the same allotted branch, transition to a lower fee category. Candidates marked as "ACCEPTED" are required to submit INR 1,00,000 as partial tuition fees to exercise the sliding option. This payment must be completed by the specified date; otherwise, the admission offer will be void, and the candidate will not be eligible for subsequent CSAP rounds.

There are three options for sliding:

  • Candidates who have been allocated their 4th Academic Preference have the flexibility to slide to any of their higher Academic Preferences, regardless of the fee slab.

  • If a candidate has been allocated the 4th Academic Preference with the 4th fee slab but wishes to retain the same Academic Preference with a lower fee slab, they can make this request.

  • In the case of a candidate assigned the 4th Academic Preference with the 2nd fee slab, they can explore higher Academic Preferences only if the potential higher Academic Preference offers a fee slab that is equal to or lower than their current allotment. If a higher Academic Preference with a lower fee slab is unavailable, the system will attempt to assign a lower fee slab within the current Academic Preference.

Option 2: Confirmed

The confirmation of a seat marks the conclusive phase in CSAP for all candidates. Even though their seat is assured, candidates are still required to meet the eligibility criteria. In the CSAP process, candidates' status transitions from "ACCEPTED" to "CONFIRMED." Once confirmed, they will proceed to settle the remaining tuition fees and are exempt from participating in subsequent CSAP rounds.

Option 3: Waiting List

In this scenario, candidates do not receive an allocation from their submitted Academic Preferences. In such cases, candidates are not required to make any fee payments until they are offered admission in any one of the CSAP rounds. For those candidates who do not receive at least one of their Academic Preferences by the conclusion of the final seat allotment round, the registration fee paid will be refunded. These candidates are allowed to modify the Academic Preferences initially submitted during the registration process.

Allotment

Activities

First

Accepted and Confirmed candidates in this round must submit a partial tuition fee of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) by the specified date. The remaining tuition fees should be paid as per the stipulated deadline; otherwise, the allotted offer will be forfeited. These candidates will not be involved in any further CSAP processes. This includes candidates who have received their first Academic Preference and are in the first fee slab.

Accepted candidates who have opted for sliding should also pay Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) before the last date to participate in the next round of CSAP.

Waitlisted candidates are automatically considered for the subsequent round of CSAP.

Second

Candidates who have been Accepted and Confirmed in this round must submit a partial tuition fee of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) by the specified last date. The remaining tuition fees must also be paid on or before the last date; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the allotted offer. This applies to candidates who have received their first Academic Preference in the first fee slab during the second allotment.

Accepted candidates who have opted for Sliding must pay Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) to participate in the next round of seat allotment.

Waitlisted candidates are automatically considered for the subsequent round.

Third

No additional sliding will be allowed in this round.

Candidates who have been Accepted and Confirmed in this round must make a partial tuition fee payment of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) and settle the remaining fees by the date specified on the website. This applies to candidates who are content with the allotment they receive in this round.

AEEE Counselling 2025: Refund Policy

Refunds during AEEE counselling will be processed following the submission of essential documents, including the fee receipt, Provisional Seat Allotment Order (received via email), and a no-dues certificate. The refund amount will be transferred to the bank account specified in the withdrawal request. Questions related to AEEE

On Question asked by student community

Have a question related to AEEE ?

Hello Aspirant,

With an AEEE rank of 26,000 under home-state quota, your chances for Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Coimbatore are quite low. Here's why:

According to 2025 cutoff trends, the home-state (Tamil Nadu) cutoff for Mechanical at Coimbatore lies between 50–65 percentile, while a rank around 26,000 corresponds to just ~31 percentile.

That said, there have been anecdotal cases (mostly at other campuses like Amritapuri or Bengaluru) where students with similar ranks have secured admission under non-scholarship/home-state slots, usually in lower-demand streams like Chemical Engineering.

You got 1241 rank in AEEE exam. This is a very good rank, around 97 to 98 percentile. You want to take admission in CSE Cybersecurity branch at Amrita University, Amritapuri campus, under Slab 1 (lowest fees).

At Amritapuri campus, the CSE Cybersecurity branch usually closes between 88 to 97 percentile. Since your rank is within this range, you have a strong chance to get admission in this branch.

Slab 1 is given to top rankers. Students with ranks below 1500 often get Slab 1 or Slab 2. So, with 1241 rank, you are likely to get Slab 1 in the second or third round of counselling.

Make sure your 12th standard marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths are more than 85%. That is the minimum eligibility to join.

You should also register and take part in the CSAP counselling process, where you can choose your preferred campus and branch.

Hello student,

With an AEEE rank of 18,500, securing ECE at Amrita Chennai through the Centralized Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) might be challenging, but not impossible.

While closing ranks for ECE at the Chennai campus are typically lower (within 6,000-14,000 for Coimbatore and Bengaluru), there's a chance with other campuses or even related branches.

It's recommended to actively participate in the CSAP, explore all campus and branch preferences, and consider related branches for a higher probability of admission.

Thank you!!

With AEEE rank 18,300, you likely won’t get Coimbatore, but you have good chances in:

Bengaluru

Chennai

Amritapuri

Amaravati

Possible branches: ECE, ME, ELC, CCE

CSE may be tough at top campuses.

Register for counselling and prefer the above campuses.

With a rank of 45,999 in AEEE 2025, your son is unlikely to get ECE (Electronics & Communication Engineering) at the Chennai campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham through regular counselling.
