Ask your question related to UPCET

Greetings from Careers360!

Thank you for your question about the number of seats available through the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) exam .

The exact number of seats can vary from year to year, as it depends on factors like the number of participating institutions and any changes in seat allocation. Generally, UPSEE offers a substantial number of seats across various engineering and technical programs in Uttar Pradesh.

To give you a more precise answer, it would be best to check the official UPSEE website or the latest information bulletin. These sources provide the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding seat distribution across different branches and colleges.

It's worth noting that the number of seats can differ significantly between popular and less sought-after branches. For instance, branches like Computer Science and Engineering typically have more seats compared to some specialized fields.

If you're preparing for UPSEE, I'd recommend focusing on your exam preparation rather than worrying too much about the exact seat count. A good rank in the exam will give you more options during the counseling process.

For the most current and detailed information about UPSEE seats, please visit our Careers360 website. We regularly update our pages with the latest data and insights about various entrance exams, including UPSEE.

Is there anything else you'd like to know about UPSEE or engineering admissions in Uttar Pradesh?

UPCET and CUET are different entrance exams.UPCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly UPTU) for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, pharmacy, architecture, and other courses offered by universities and colleges affiliated with it in Uttar Pradesh.

CUET is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate programs offered by central universities across India.

I hope it helps!

Correct Answer: Article 18

Solution : The correct answer is Article 18.

All titles are eliminated by Article 18. It forbids the State from bestowing titles onto any individual, citizen or non-citizen. However, the ban does not apply to academic or military distinctions. Additionally, it forbids an Indian national to take up any title from a foreign state.

Correct Answer: Conformist

Solution : The correct choice is the second option.

Conformist refers to an individual who tends to follow established norms, traditions, or societal standards without resistance or dissent.

The meanings of the other options are as follows:

  • A psychologist is a professional who studies the mind and behaviour, aiming to understand, interpret, and explain human behaviour, emotions, thoughts, and mental processes.
  • A socialist is someone who supports principles or systems aimed at community ownership and control of resources, industries, and means of production. Socialism aims to promote social equality, fair distribution of wealth, and public ownership of certain sectors.
  • Rebelist isn't a commonly used term in English. "Rebel" is the noun form for someone who resists or challenges authority, societal norms, or established conventions.

With a CRL rank of 94k in JEE, your chances of getting into top-tier colleges like AKGEC, KIET, GL Bajaj, or Galgotias for CSE or IT are somewhat limited, especially in the General category. These colleges tend to have higher cutoffs for branches like Computer Science and Information Technology. However, since you're applying through the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) counselling, you might still have a chance, particularly if you are from Uttar Pradesh, as there is a state quota that can slightly lower the cutoff for state residents. You may have better chances in branches other than CSE/IT, or in newer/less competitive colleges under the same institutions. Additionally, cutoffs vary year to year, so you should check the previous year's cutoff trends to get a clearer picture. Keep an eye on the counselling process and make sure to list your preferences wisely.

Hi lata
Congrats
You cant get seat in this course it seems
All the best

In UPSEE (UPCET) counseling, your EWS rank may not be considered if you're from another state. However, some colleges may still offer seats through open or all-India category quotas. You can expect to get admission to good private colleges in Uttar Pradesh, such as KIET, ABES, or Galgotias, depending on your rank and choice of branch. For more specific options, it’s best to check the UPSEE counseling guidelines and the available cutoff trends for your rank.

Yes, you can use your OBC NCL certificate for reservation in both UPSEE and MMMUU (Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology) counselling, as long as the certificate is valid and issued by the competent authority. The certificate must be issued after the cut-off date for the current academic year and should clearly state that you belong to the OBC NCL category.
