Candidates willing to get direct admission in the 2nd year of B.E/B.Tech courses through UPSEE Lateral entry 2023 will have to appear for UPCET. UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the 2nd year of engineering degree course should ensure that they meet the UPSEE Lateral Entry eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Candidates failing to meet any criteria will not be eligible for final admission. The detailed eligibility criteria of the UPSEE Lateral Entry 2023 are mentioned below.
Candidates should have qualified the 3-year engineering diploma course from a recognized institute in Uttar Pradesh or candidates whose parents are domicile of U.P. will be eligible to apply.
Candidates should have passed the diploma engineering course with at least 45% aggregate marks. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, the minimum required aggregate marks is 40%.
Candidates should have passed three years B.Sc. degree and class 12th with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
Candidates who are appearing for their final semester exam are also eligible to apply for UPCET Lateral Entry 2023, but only if they meet the eligibility criteria by the time of counselling.

Steps to fill UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 Application Form
The following steps can be referred to fill the application form of UPSEE Lateral Entry 2023-
Step 1: Registration- In the first step, candidates will have to register for UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 by entering basic details like candidate name, date of birth, mobile number, etc. After filling all necessary details, candidates have to select a password that will be used in the future.
Step 2: Filling UPSEE Lateral Entry Application Form- After successful registration, candidates will have to login to the candidate portal to fill details like personal, academic and communication details.
Step 3: Uploading Documents - After filling the application form correctly, candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per specifications given by the authorities. Photograph should be passport sized, coloured with white or off white background.

UPCET Lateral Entry Admit Card 2023
The authorities will release the admit card of UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 on the official website. Candidates will be able to download the UPSEE lateral entry admit card using their application number and password. Candidates must check all the details mentioned in the UPCET 2023 lateral entry admit card and contact the helpline in case of any discrepancies. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card of UPSEE Lateral Entry 2023. Also, candidates are advised to keep the UPCET lateral entry admit card safely till the completion of admission process.
UPCET Lateral Entry Result 2023
The authorities will declare the results of the UPSEE Lateral Entry 2023 in online mode. UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 Merit List
All the candidates who will qualify the UPSEE Lateral Entry 2023 will be a part of a merit list that will be released by the authorities after the declaration of result. The authorities will prepare the merit list of UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 on the basis of the performance of a candidate in the entrance test. UPCET Lateral Entry Counselling 2023
All the candidates who will be included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling of UPSEE Lateral Entry 2023. The authorities will release a notification regarding the UPCET Lateral entry counselling schedule and candidates will be required to participate in the counselling on the scheduled date and time.
UPCET Lateral Entry 2023 Seat Allotment
After counselling, authorities will allot the seats to the candidates in the order of merit to all the students who take part in the counselling. It should be noted that UPCET lateral entry seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit list, availability of seats and choices locked by the candidates. All the seat allotted candidates should reach the allotted institute on the date and time prescribed by the authorities. Failing to report on time will lead to forfeiture of a seat. Candidates will have to deposit the college fees and confirm their seat while reporting to the institute.

Hello aspirant,
If in 2023 the 75 percent criteria for JEE mains remain, you will not be able to appear in the exam. In case of AKTU, the requirement is 45% so you will be eligibile to obtain government college by UPSEE counselling (AKTU college). It will depend on your marks though.

Hey Rishabh, I understand the situation you're going through but believe me there's nothing to be much depressed about as these marks are a part and parcel of life and won't matter much after you join a college. You may either try reappearing for improvement of your score in boards if you are sure to take it up and are ready to take a drop.
At 81% you rank comes about 194370 - 218500 where it is very difficult to secure a seat at AKTU counselling as those seats close around CRL rank of 1.32L approx. Use the rank predictor tool:
