HEY THERE!!!

To get a veterinary (BVSc & AH) seat by KCET in Karnataka, your required rank differs with the college and category. Below are the latest expected cutoffs for 2025:

Veterinary College, Bangalore (BVSc & AH)

  1. General Merit (GM): Rank between 1100–1200
  2. General Merit Rural (GMR): Rank between 1700–1800
  3. Other categories:
  4. 3BG: 1200–1300
  5. 3AG: 1300–1400
  6. 2AG: 1900–2000
  7. SCG: 4400–4500
  8. STG: 7100–7200

Veterinary College, Shimoga

  1. General Merit (GM): Rank between 2100–2200
  2. General Merit Rural (GMR): Rank between 3300–3400
  3. Other categories:
  4. 3BG: 2300–2400
  5. 2BG: 2400–2500
  6. SCG: 6700–6800
  7. STG: 8400–8500

In short:

For Bangalore's and Shimoga's top veterinary colleges, you will need to find a KCET rank below 1200 (GM) for Bangalore and below 2200 (GM) for Shimoga.

If you are under a reservation category, you can get admitted with a higher rank (bigger number).

Cutoffs change a little every year, but these are the current estimated ranks for admissions in 2025

HEY THERE!!

  1. With 55 in KCET and 240/300 in PCM boards, your estimated KCET rank will be between 40,000 and 60,000.
  2. To estimate your rank based on your marks:
  3. Your KCET rank is determined by assigning 50% weight to your KCET marks (of 180 PCM) and 50% weight to your board marks in PCM Class 12 (of 300).

KCET Rank Estimate:

With 183 in PCM boards and 62 in KCET, your expected rank is around 60,000 to 80,000 (General category).

With KCET score of 111, Board score of 345, and 188 in practicals, you have a good chance of getting a seat at UAS Dharwad for agriculture courses, especially if you're in the General category. Final admission depends on the category and course competition.

With 345 in boards, 111 in KCET, and 188 in the practical exam, you have a strong chance of securing a seat in B.Sc. Agriculture at most universities, including those like UAS Dharwad. However, admission will also depend on:

Category (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.): Cutoffs vary based on this.

Competition: Agriculture courses can have varying demand, so it depends on how many applicants there are.

You should check the specific cutoff trends for the university you are applying to, but overall, your chances look promising with these scores.

With a KCET score of 90 and 196 in the practical exam, your total score is around 328.4/400. Based on previous years' cutoffs, you have a good chance of getting a veterinary seat in Karnataka, especially in colleges like Shimoga and Bidar. However, the final seat allocation depends on counseling, seat availability, and category-wise reservations.

s!

With a score of 176 marks in the KCET 2025 Agriculture Practical Exam, your expected rank for B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture or related courses would likely fall between 2,000 and 4,000 in the General Merit (GM) category.

However, it's important to note that the final rank also depends on your Class 12 (PUC) marks , as KCET ranks are calculated using a 50:50 weightage of KCET scores and PUC marks.

  • Your chances may improve with reserved category preferences, so you should participate in the counselling process.
