Yes, you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced in 2025 and 2026.
The eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced allow candidates to attempt the exam in the year they complete their Class 12th and one consecutive year afterward. Since you are reappearing for Class 12th in the academic year 2024-25 due to health reasons, your official year of Class 12th completion will be considered 2025. This means you are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced in both 2025 and 2026.
The authorities understand that candidates may face unavoidable circumstances, such as health issues, that require them to defer their studies. Eligibility for JEE Advanced is based on the year in which Class 12th is completed, not the year it was initially scheduled. Since you are completing your Class 12th in 2025, you meet the necessary timeline to take JEE Advanced in the next two consecutive years.
Make sure to fulfill any other specific requirements, like the minimum marks criteria in the necessary subjects. Focus on your health and studies, knowing you’re fully eligible to pursue JEE Advanced when you're ready.
Hello Ashwin,
Choosing between a career in the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other fields via JEE, KCET, or CUET ultimately depends on where your passion and career goals lie. Both paths have distinct futures and demands, and here’s a breakdown to guide your decision:
National Defence Academy (NDA):
Engineering and Other Streams (via JEE, KCET, CUET):
If you have a strong passion for serving the country and find the military lifestyle appealing, NDA might be the right path. However, if you are inclined towards engineering, technology, or a flexible career with civilian opportunities , a path through JEE, KCET, or CUET would provide broader options.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

IITs offer dual degree programs, such as the B.Tech./M.Tech. program. Students are admitted to these programs through JEE and are expected to complete the program in five years.
IIT dont have lateral entry scheme so why to waste your time instead Complete your diploma and then go for GATE entrance exam.Try to achieve a good rank under 500. It is possible, given your effort, hard work and sincerity. Then, you stand a great chance to get into IIT.
This way a diploma holder can successfully enter IIT and get out with flying colours.
All the best.

All the best.
No, your first JEE Mains attempt won't be wasted even if you don't clear JEE Advanced or the second attempt of JEE Mains. The JEE Mains considers the best score from both attempts. So, if your first attempt was good, it will be considered for your overall rank. To appear for JEE Advanced, you need to qualify for JEE Mains only once in the same year. So, your first attempt qualifying score is enough to make you eligible for JEE Advanced.
I hope this information helps.
Every year toughness of JEE Advanced varies so it is almost impossible to predict which score is safe but , let me give you a very rough idea marks around 230 for general category candidates will have good chance for CSE department in IITs.
RAnk under 650 for general candidates is sure shot for top IITs and for all other IITs cse departments rank ,under 4K is a safe rank.
Hello there,
With 110 marks in JEE Main and belonging to the SC category, you have a good chance of securing admission to several NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions, especially if the paper is hard and the overall cut-offs are lower.
