KEAM 2026 Qualifying Marks for Engineering: CEE, Kerala has announced the KEAM qualifying marks 2026 for the engineering exam on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. As per latest notification, general category candidates need to score a minimum of 10 marks in each paper 1 and paper 2. Only those candidates will be qualified in KEAM exam. Students who qualified will be shortlisted to the KEAM 2026 rank list which is based on the candidates KEAM scores and 10+2 marks. As per KEAM 2026 official announcements, candidates has to fulfil the below points to be qualified for the KEAM exam. Students who qualified only will be eligible to be placed in the normalisation process of KEAM rank list 2026.
General candidates have to score a minimum of 10 marks each in KEAM paper 1 & 2.
SC,ST candidates no need to score any minimum marks to qualify in the exam.
At least one question must be attempted by the sc,st candidates or else they will be disqualified.
Marks will be calculated based on the KEAM marking scheme.

Candidates need to score a minimum of qualifying marks in the KEAM exam to be eligible to be take part in the normalisation process. Students who score good marks and cross the cutoff only will be placed in the KEAM 2026 rank list which will be released tentatively on June 20, 2026.

If the KEAM counselling rules permit option rearrangement or fresh option registration in subsequent phases, you may modify your preferences during the specified option confirmation/editing window announced by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

Getting an SM (State Merit) seat type in the trial allotment instead of EW (Economically Weaker Section) is completely normal. CEE Kerala allots seats based on merit; since your rank qualified for an open, unreserved seat, you were allotted SM.
