KCET paper analysis 2025 - Various Coaching institutes will release the KCET 2025 paper analysis for April 16 & 17 for Shift 1 & 2. Students who appeared for the Karnataka CET April 19 physics paper rate the exam to be easy to moderately challenging. There were a lot of numerical and graphical questions in the KCET 2024 physics paper
As per the students' reactions, the KCET 2024 April 18 shift 2 paper was of easy to moderately challenging level. The KCET 2024 mathematics exam also had a few tricky questions that had lengthier calculations. With proper time management, candidates were able to complete all the questions.
Candidates who appeared for the KCET 2024 Biology paper on April 18 in shift 1 say that the exam was of moderate difficulty level. Students also said that the paper was a bit lengthy.
As per students based reaction the paper was easy to moderate. The questions asked from Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure , states of Matter, Thermodynamics, solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, etc.
KCET 2023 physics paper held on May 21 shift 1. According to students, the difficulty level of Physics paper was moderate to difficult. Many questions were asked form Magnetism and electricity. Questions asked from AC, wave optics, work energy power, laws of motion. As per the students based reactions, the good attempt in the exam was about 40-45. The difficulty questions were about 10-12. Overall, the questions were doable and the weightage of topics was mixed. Many questions were formula-based.
As per the students' based reactions, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to tough. Students stated that questions were doable but lengthy. The questions asked from topics like Sets, functions & relations, Integration, Coordinate geometry, Vectors etc.

As per the experts of Knowledge Management, Deeksha; Overall, the paper was easy. An average student can score about 30-35 marks out of 60 marks. Only a few questions were a bit difficult. There were no out of syllabus questions and all were framed as per the NCERT textbook. It was also easy in comparison to last year as the questions were memory and conceptual-based. Assertion Reasoning and statement-based questions were not given this year. There were no errors with the question paper.
As per the student reviews on the Chemistry paper, the exam was easy to moderate in difficulty. There were more questions from IIPUC as compared to IPUC.
Student reactions on the KCET Physics paper were mixed as for some students, the questions were moderately difficult, while some others found the paper much more difficult. Here again, questions from IIPUC were more in number as compared to IPUC.
According to the students who appeared for the Mathematics paper of KCET 2020, the exam was an easy and moderate paper. All of the questions were from within the syllabus of I PU and II PU. The paper also consisted of 17 questions from I PU and 43 from II PU portions. According to Resonance BASE, a well-prepared student will be able to score a maximum of 90% in the exam.
Bhavna, an aspirant who appeared for KCET 2020 biology paper, found the paper very easy. There were adequate arrangements for candidates in view of covid-19 and every student was wearing masks.
Swaroop Janney, another KCET 2020 aspirant who appeared for the biology exam, the paper was quite normal but the preparedness of the exam conducting authority was not satisfactory at the exam centre.
Another aspirant said Biology question paper was quite easy. Questions from 1st pu was very very low. Some of her friends found it difficult. Questions like Genesis graph was also asked, labeling floral diagrams, fungi examples
According to Resonance BASE, the question paper was balanced with an almost equal number of questions from Botany and Zoology. The 1st year concepts had 15 questions while 2nd year had 45 questions. Students who prepared well from the NCERT Biology textbooks and learnt the concepts thoroughly will be able to easily ace the exam.
The KCET question paper is often considered to be moderate in difficulty level.
