KCET verification slip 2025 - KEA is conducting the KCET 2025 verification slip correction from July 1 to 4, 2025. The KCET verification slip correction can be done in online mode only on the website, cetonline.karntaka.gov.in. Candidates can access the direct link for KCET verification slip correction on this page. With this, the authorities have cancelled the offline correction for document verification. For edits to the Caste/Income/371(j) candidates can enter their correct RD Number and download the new verification slip on July 5, 2025. Clause 'a' candidates whose study details have not been verified through SATS or those candidates who claimed Kannada Medium/Rural Study but did not verify at the respective college can verify the documents on July 3 or 4, at the nearest Govt. PU college. Candidates who claimed clause 'b' to clause 'o' and did not get their documents verified can appear for verification at KEA, Bangalore on July 3 or 4, 2025. Candidates who have qualified the KCET exam have to get their documents verified to participate in the counselling process.

The KCET document verification is conducted in both online and offline modes, depending on the eligibility clauses. Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to download the KCET verification slip online:

  • Visit the KEA KCET official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

  • Click on the KCET verification slip download link 2025 under the flash news section.

  • Enter your application number, date of birth and the first 5 characters of your name in the space provided.

  • Enter the captcha code as shown and click on the download verification slip button.

  • The KCET document verification slip download PDF will appear on your screens.

  • Take a printout of the verification slip, to be used while reporting to the allotted institute for admission.

How to obtain the KCET verification slip 2025 - offline mode

KEA has provided a physical copy of the verification slip for KCET 2025 to candidates who appear in the offline verification. Candidates under the eligibility clauses “b, c, d, i, j, k, l, m, n and z” will be required to appear for the document verification in person as per the schedule. Students have to carry the original documents while appearing for verification. Candidates who are absent for the offline KCET document verification process will not be considered for the KCET seat allotment. The verification slip informs candidates of their eligibility in the further admission process. Candidates must keep the KCET verification slip 2025 safely until the completion of the admission process.

List of Documents Required for Verification

The documents and certificates required for the KCET document verification 2025 includes the following documents:

  • SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card

  • 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card

  • SEVEN Years Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI

  • Kannada Medium Certificate (If applicable)

  • Rural Study Certificate (If applicable)

  • Caste/Caste Income Certificate with RD Number (If applicable)

  • Income Certificate

  • Kalyana-Karnataka Region in Annexure-A only – Should contain RD Number (If applicable)

  • Special Category Certificates – as per the claims and eligibility in a particular special category like NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-Defence, CAPF, Ex-CAPF, AGL, Scouts & Guides

  • Parent’s study certificate/Hometown certificate/Domicile certificate/Employment certificate/Cumulative Record/Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the parent's domicile/study/employment.

  • Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

What after KCET verification slip download?

The authority will issue the KCET 2025 document verification slip after verifying the authenticity of the documents. Candidates have to check the KCET verification slip to know their eligibility to participate in the counselling process. Students whose documents are verified can participate further in the counselling and KCET seat allotment process. Candidates are required to fill in their choices of colleges and courses based on their preferences. The seat allotment will be done based on the choice filled by candidates, their KCET results and the availability of seats. Candidates who are allotted seats must confirm their admission by paying the required fees and reporting to the allotted college within the specified time.

hiii if my veterinary rank is 5000 in kcet with st caste and crpf Quta can i get a seat in veterinary college hebbal

Hello,

It's unlikely you'll get a veterinary college in Bangalore with a KCET rank of 5000, even with the ST caste and CRPF quota, as the general cutoff is often around 1200, and even special category quotas typically don't extend that far.

I just want to know that in second round KCET counseling i got allotted one college sir, i choose choice-1 in choice entry and i didn't joined the college sir , Sir i just wanted to know whether I'm i banned from KCET counseling next year will It affect me for next year KCET counseling

Yes, you can attempt the KCET exam next year as well if you feel to score better to get better college as long as you meet the eligibility criteria of KCET.

Make sure you are comfortable to bear the consequences of dropping after one year like loss of one year studies and problems while getting fees refund (depends on your college).
