Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to download the KCET verification slip online:

• Visit the KEA KCET official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

• Click on the KCET verification slip download link 2026 under the flash news section.

• Enter your application number, date of birth and the first 5 characters of your name in the space provided.

• Enter the captcha code as shown and click on the download verification slip button.

• The KCET document verification slip download PDF will appear on your screens.

• Take a printout of the verification slip, to be used while reporting to the allotted institute for admission.

How to obtain the KCET verification slip 2026 - offline mode

KEA will provide a physical copy of the verification slip for KCET 2026 to candidates who appear in the offline verification. Candidates under the eligibility clauses “b, c, d, i, j, k, l, m, n and z” will be required to appear for the document verification in person as per the schedule. Students have to carry the original documents while appearing for verification. Candidates who are absent for the offline KCET document verification process will not be considered for the KCET seat allotment. The verification slip informs candidates of their eligibility in the further admission process. Candidates must keep the KCET verification slip 2026 safely until the completion of the admission process.

List of Documents Required for Verification

The documents and certificates required for the KCET document verification 2026 includes the following documents:

• SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card

• 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card

• SEVEN Years Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI

• Kannada Medium Certificate (If applicable)

• Rural Study Certificate (If applicable)

• Caste/Caste Income Certificate with RD Number (If applicable)

• Income Certificate

• Kalyana-Karnataka Region in Annexure-A only – Should contain RD Number (If applicable)

• Special Category Certificates – as per the claims and eligibility in a particular special category like NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-Defence, CAPF, Ex-CAPF, AGL, Scouts & Guides

• Parent’s study certificate/Hometown certificate/Domicile certificate/Employment certificate/Cumulative Record/Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the parent's domicile/study/employment.

• Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

The authority will issue the KCET 2026 document verification slip after verifying the authenticity of the documents. Candidates have to check the KCET verification slip to know their eligibility to participate in the counselling process.
