Only IMU CET-qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling of IMU CET 2025. The link for IMU CET counselling will be updated on the official website. All candidates must register for the counselling within the duration notified by the authorities. During the counselling, the candidates will be allotted to the campuses of Indian Maritime University. The counselling of IMU CET 2025 will be held only for the campuses. For admissions into affiliated colleges of IMU CET, the candidates will have to apply separately.

Step 1 - Registration- Firstly, the candidates will have to go to the official website of IMU CET 2025 and click on the counselling registration link. IMU CET Counselling fees of Rs. 10,000 have to be paid by the candidates through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card).
Step 2 - Choice Filling- After registration, the candidates will have to choose their preferred programme and campus in online mode. The selection has to be done in the order of preference. The candidates are advised to select as many options as possible to have a higher chance of allotment.
Step 3 - Seat Allotment- Candidates will be allotted to the participating campuses on the basis of merit, preferences and availability of seats. The social category of the candidates will also be considered. To confirm the allotment, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 25000 (non-refundable).
Step 4 - Document Verification- Finally, the candidates will have to download their provisional allotment letter and report to their respective allotted institutes. All of the required documents will be verified by the authorities to confirm the admission.
The authority will conduct the IMU CET spot counselling in online mode. Students who have registered online to participate in the IMU CET spot counselling 2025. The registered students have to check the report to the institutes in person. Moreover, the students have to carry the demand draft in favour of Indian Marine University.
